Bogota Reports

I arrived in Bogota by plane, easy transit to hotel Andino Royal on the edge of the Zona T. Very discreet, but helpful. When a 24 yo non-pro came to meet me at the hotel, I forgot to give her my full name or room number, but I am a distinctive gringo and had made friends at the desk and they figured out who she wanted and called me.

Bogota is cold. North Bogota is very clean, organized, modern, with good security. It seemed safe to walk around at night in Zona T or the estrato 6 areas north, but it is only a few blocks west to a sketchier area at Carrerra 15 (aveninda Caracas).

My goal was non-pros, starting with cybercupido contacts. I had many more possibilities than I needed. I didn't have any luck chatting up girls in the Andino Mall or the streets, but I did better with talking to girls in the lower class shops. It could also be that I got better as I got used to Colombia and talking in Spanish all the time.

I tried two pros. A black calena at Penthouse Club in Chapinera (walking distance, see the List). Girls ok, but not gorgeous. 100k for hour. Ok room. 7k for chica drinks. An uninteresting experience.

Then after strking out with non-pro #2 (see below), at 2am I walked down Calle 85 away from the mountains, turned right on Cr 14, a short street that deadends in one block at CL 86 or 86a? If you turn left you come to 3 fancy clubs (casanova, etc.) but at the intersection of CL 86 and cr 14, directly ahead, is a black door with steps going up and touts. No name, no number, but easy to find. Small bar, 10 girls, good music not too loud, good lighting. Girls were much prettier than in chapinera. Chica drinks 27k! I hooked up with the tall, slim, 30 yo bartender in jeans rather than one of the hotter looking 22 yo chicas. All the rooms were occupied, so went to a fancier club to use their room (Lalos Club, Cr 15 and 88-33) by taxi. A great hour. Really gfe. Got her number, but no time to see her yet. 93k to the bar, plus whatever you negotate with the girl. Same 93k bar fine to exit with her, although I think the chica drinks are deducted from the 93k in that case.

Non-pro Girl #1. 24 yo. Costena. Beautiful. Living with her sister in Bogota as the babysitter for her sister's 4 children.brother in law works in dubai. not a family with money worries. 2 dates, lots of fun. Declined invitation to my room. We went to a fun famoous night spot called Andre's Carne de Res in Chia (about 40 minutes outside of the city). Think funky indoor-outdoor club with food, booze, dancing, and 3000 people. Mostly white 30-something well-off colombian groups celebrating birthdays, etc. No blacks, few calena or costena type people. They appear to party hard in Colombia on Fri and Sat night, and also Thu (Fri seems to be a casual limited work day at many businesses). Because Girl 1 was only 24 we didn't have much to talk about after a while. I did manage to dance her off her feet, but my shoes were much more comfortable than her high heels.

Non-pro Girl #2. 30 yo. Costena. Long dark hair, very sexy and pretty. A scientific professional. Well off. Lives further north in a house that her parents bought for her and her brother for working in Bogota. We went dancing in a club in Zona T. Great time. And I learned what they do about purses and valuables in a country where no one trusts anyone else very much. You get a big bag from the waitress, put your stuff in it, they padlock it and give you the key. When you pay your bill, you get it back. I noticed that my date counted the money in her wallet after she took it out of the bag. For our second date she was dress very sexy and was the best looking dancer in the club. Interesting, lively, hard-partying girl. We drank a bottle of Aguardiente, something I do not recommend. Great kisses, but no sex in 2 dates. Will follow up with her.

I got thumbs up from Colombian guys while dancing with both dates.

Non-pro Girl #3. 36 yo (I am quite old by the way). Short, overweight, smart, interesting, fun to be with. After meeting for a coffee, she invited me several other activities. I accepted a visit to her apartment for lunch (soup, rice, avocado, desert). She lives in a middle class neighborhood out toward the airport. Whole family was in and out all the time, include mom, pop, 2 brothers, 3 children, 1 nephew, etc. Walked to the mall with the kids and beat the youngest girl in air hockey but lost to her mom. Eacaped without sex being an issue and without getting engaged.

I told them that I was in Colombia on business, which made it possible to juggle schedules. I should have told them I was in Bogota for 2 weeks+ instead of 5 days and I made the misake of telling Girl 2 that I was planning to go out for karaoke with girl 3. Using Cypbercupido made it obvious that I probably had other dates.

On the way to the airport there was a marathon and many city streets were closed. So I got an involuntary tour of many barrios. I arrived at the airport with 15 minutes to spare and still made my plane.

I like Bogota and plan to go back, but I like the people in Medellin better (next report).

You can go alone to Santfe zone until the 7 or 8 pm. After that hour the zone can be more dangerous, although the police make witnesses in the zone.

For example you can to take a taxi at 4 pm. And you leave in the corner of the Calle 23 Carrera 16A, and walk a few steps to Atunes Club. You find 15 or more chicas, and so many will arrive at this time. The price of the can beer is 2. 5k and the price for a 15 minutes is 40km 50k or 60k, it depends of the chica and your power of to negotiate a less price.

And you can leave the zone before the 7 pm.

If you need go more later, is better to go to Piscina Carrera 15 Calle 23.

The idea is not walk alone the zone, for to go to another places, don't leave alone your drink in the table, and to be alert to any person near to you.

Dont go to this place uless you like ugly girls, went there last week after seeing rodeo9112's list and prices for BBBJ. Was not impressed at all with any of the girls and the ones I asked did not give BBBJ (not that I would have let them anywhere near me anyway)

Maybe you got your info from somewhere else.

To all whose who are unsure about going alone to Santa Fe I would advise caution like anywhere but if you have some confidence about yourself and are streetwise and not a nervous person you should be okay. I have been to a few areas now where I was not sure about going before but after some advice on the forum I took the plunge. Basically visiting a red light zone anywhere is not the safest option in the world but if you dont walk about too much and attract too much attention then shouldnt be a problem. I would advise taking a cab there maybe do a tour around in the cab to get a feel for where the places are and if you want to talk to some of the street girls or the girls at the "hotels" motion them over to your cab and talk to them before getting out and entering. Im pretty sure the cabbie shouldnt have a problem with this and if in doubt offer a tip for the trouble maybe 2,000-5,000COP which lets face it is nothing if you are travelling on foreign money. Once you have done the tour get out and maybe visit La Piscina or El Castillo o La Troya or whatever and if you dont like the place then move to the next place but with purpose not wandering alone the street aimlessly. Try not too drink too much in whatever bar so you dont lose the control of the situation either with the chica or become oblivious of your surroundings and safety. Drinking a lot is ok if you are with friends especially colombians and im sure its okay for some folks maybe ex marines but for most people I would say better to stay semi sober. Im still new to the area and have only visited a few places fleetingly but so far have had no problems, probably because i follow the above rules. You all have to make up your own mind, being robbed is a game of chance but you can either increase or decrease the odds. Anyway thats my advice hope its of some use and dont be put off going down there alone. Better still hook up with someone else.

I can also reccomend Marianna.

She gets better and friendlier from meeting to meeting it's ashame I have to leave Bogota soon.

I will be in Bogota next week for the first time. I have been to medellin many times, and I would like any info on any places like loutron. I am also looking to see if anybody has any info on pre-pagos. I don't mind paying more for a higher quality girl.

Sorry, but in Bogota you can nt look places like loutron. This place is the best in Colombia.

I think is posible you go to Mansion (116 street) in the night, or Flickr all day. But NEVER the same quality.
