The Radisson Blu is actually within walking distance of Palace. Not sure if there are any 5 star hotels in the vicinity of Mainhattan. Others in this category that are relatively close are the Marriott and Maritim which are bith near the Messe.

No problem. Many of us Anglos do it all the time. Just ask the rental car people when you pick up your car to set the GPS language to English.

Miami Saunaclub (Moselstrasse 44, between Niddastrasse and Taunustrass) is the budget monger’s FKK in Frankfurt. It is a small club, with one waiting room, a very small sauna, and a set of two showers. The rooms vary in size and appointments – I was able to use one of the nicer rooms, with a large Jacuzzi ensuite because there was only me and one other guy in the place on a Saturday afternoon at 1900.

When you enter the place, the first room, DIRECTLY off the street, is a changing room with the cheapest, flimsiest lockers I have seen in a long time. I was not happy about the lack of secure lockers, but they do have a couple of burly guys on site at all times, access to the room is controlled from a window on the street, and the room is in full view of the waiting room inside. So with some misgivings, I stripped down and locked up my clothes in the locker.

When I came in, there was no one else there, but when I left there were five guys plus a security guy in the small room, and it was impossible not to bump into at least one guy while I was changing back. So you definitely get the budget accommodations here.

There were about 10 hungry-eyed women waiting for some fresh meat when I walked into the waiting room. The doorman had told me that most were from Romania, but I believe they were all from Romania. To compare to other FKKs, this club is Spartan in its accommodations, but is kept clean enough. I have been in other small clubs around Germany, and this club is about a 4 out of 10. BUT, you pay only E10 for a towel and sandals, and you must buy at least one drink – minimum E3 more to get into the club. This allows you unlimited time in the club to use the sauna and showers. The women are there for your viewing pleasure, and you can try a conversation with a woman before settling on a date in the romper room. So it is superior to a regular bordello where you get only a few brief minutes to make a choice, but not as nice as a regular FKK with all of the space and facilities some offer. There is no food.

The women all know each other – and I don’t think there is much turnover here. So if you want to become a regular, you can count on good treatment if you treat them well enough. The opposite is also true. If you have a bad experience here, I would suggest you never return because they will out you among themselves and then you will likely suffer the consequences.

A big advantage of this club is it is only three blocks from the main train station. You could zip over, grab a shower and sauna, ogle the ladies, and then skip out spending nothing else during a long layover even from the airport. The S trains are frequent and take only a few minutes to get you from the airport and back. Of course, you have to figure in getting back through security, but I would say if you have more than 3 hours between flights, it should be doable. For E13, a shower, sauna, and eye candy isn’t so bad. And of course, there is also the option of a quickie for another E50. If you have serious carryons, you could put them in a locker in the train station rather than hauling them over and then not having any place to secure them while in the club.

Bottom line, you won’t get a deluxe experience here, but for the price point, you can’t go too far wrong. Just don’t bring unreasonable expectations.

Tantra Oase (Oberschelder Weg 20) is advertised as a Thai Massage Parlor. However, there are no Thai women working there at this time. Instead, they offer Thai-style massage (body to body), performed by up to 5 women on weekdays, and three on weekends. The location is not that convenient because it is way out on U1 or U3 (Zeilweg station). From the station it is a two block walk to the address. Re how far you can go. The key is YMMV. I find that as a repeat customer you have better chances of exploring. Screwing might get a bit far, but a BBBJ you get once in a while.
