Not many guys can afford Business Class flights and Chanel hand bags for an aspiring entrepreneur. However, thousands can, and do, spend hundreds on a phone or jewellery for a provincial farmer's daughter.
I noticed in both cases the guy gets punted the when he becomes inconvenient.
Cheers. G.

I noticed in both cases the guy gets punted the when he becomes inconvenient.
Concur. The author of the article appears mid-30's, slender, and nothing terribly special. Bland by standards here. Yet given where she is (RWML), she's apparently a catch. It just took a while for her to realize it. Rich white fellas fawn over her: "I would love to support you in your travel to France".
This is little different than less-wealthy gringos who fawn over their asian girl here, send them possibly more money than they should (causing them to skimp on other expenses) and more money than the girl is worth here (have known gents sending p50 k+ monthly in remit, who has never traveled outside his country). They consider the girl his GF (regardless the fact that she might have several such idiots on the hook).
The same way the RWM took the bland girl away from her po' American BF's, the less-rich gringo took a looker here out of the poon-selling market (usually, not always; sometimes when they have an emergency they will sell it on the cheap). Some of the fellas here don't like that some other guy is giving her more to stay home than she'd be making selling it.
Guys, how long has Air Asia been operating on domestic routes in the Philippines? Sure they are no frills but lots of dirt cheap fares.
I've just been looking at options for a provincial tour and $50 tickets MNL-Mindanao-Mnl abound. That's return. Mostly Air Asia with some Cebu Pacific. Same for DVO to elsewhere direct ie no wasting time in MNL or CEB.

Grab a flight, it's as good as the others.
What!
Haha do I detect a heartbeat?

Am I the only one struggling to access the ISG Forums, PMs and Search pages? I'm getting repeated Nightly Backup error messages and unbelievably slow download speeds. I'm assuming the Admins know but not sure.
I'm not moderated. Would a newbie Regular Member or nawty moderated Senior quote and comment on my message so an Admin sees it. 👍.
Be good to know if this is a one off or ongoing problem.
Thanks. G.

For one hour flight nothing to report. Their food sucks. It came with the ticket I purchased which included 20 kg. Checked in bag. Bundle.
Even cebu pacific has come back big time. Domestic flights are cheap and flights were full of locals.
Began operations 1995 as AsianSpirit, later Zest Air. Zest was grounded because of safety issues and had to "merge" with AirAsia to form what is now AirAsia Philippines to continue operating. I have always considered this airline a bit subpar, and it was on my no-fly list as long as they were operated by the sugary drink guy.
I flew Air Asia ...They employ only good looking air hostesses....
Good to see they have their priorities right. Here in RWML, there were several court cases and $$$ fines because airlines were hiring only hot blondes. Virgin jumps to mind. One of the Middle East airlines even relocated a regional hub saying that they will hire who they want.
Win 1 for the metoo brigade.
