General Info

I had booked a Thai airways ticket before covid. The flight was canceled. No refund was given. Called Thai airways in USA and was asked to contact Philippines office for refund. I contacted them. They asked me to send the credit card number and details to process. I sent it. I got the e mail saying it was processed but no refund. Waiting for two years now. When I was in Manila I tried to call them but it says office is closed. Contacted USA office again and they said refund was processed and contact Manila office. Sent no less than 6 e mails with copy to Thai airways in Bangkok, USA and Manila. Still waiting. On my next trip to Bangkok I will personally go to their office and demand.

All my other bookings during covid were promptly refunded.

Philippine efficiency is lacking.

This is not a PH issute, the Thai that has emerged is for the most part simply not honoring older liabilities. Suggest you write it off and book with a better airline in the future.

You can try to talk with your CC company, next time do that rather sooner than later.

I guess my account is somewhere in the last page Thai airways owing list in bankruptcy proceedings. Generally unless the airline starts making money and the creditors get paid and big creditors get paid first. And also only certain percentage of net profits can be used to pay creditors. I do not think credit card bank can do anything in this situation in the bankruptcy situation.

This explains why my refund was processed and not paid. My name should be in the creditor list somewhere. Better to forget about it.

I have noticed in Manila Malls last week that a lot of people are bringing their small cute dogs to the malls. Either walking them around or carrying them in their designer bags. It is disturbing to me in a country full of starvation that a little fashion dog is elevated above people. Just my opinion but can't help the dog owners seeing my disgust with them.

The other day at SM Clark Mall there was a lady walking her all white fluffy furry CAT on a leash in HyperMart. She noticed my disgust and quickly put the cat in its fashionable carry bag.

Philippinos bring these miniature dogs to the mall in a disgusting display of pretentious wealth in a third world country. Meanwhile there are near-death feral dogs (and people) roaming the streets.

If you are unable to go the mall without a little dog then you are just not ready to go out period. Grow up!

And have you noticed that these dogs do not act like normal dogs? Dogs bark and play and dogs are often hyperactive. I really think that these miniature dogs are drugged. Seriously. Look at their eyes sometimes.

Apparently only about 20% of the population have the nerve endings in the right places so that they can enjoy anal sex. Since this is a genetic trait it makes sense that there would be clusters where the percentages in the local population were higher.
