I however still got caught in it and the reason I post it here is to remind even those vets with many years of Philippines experience That you can't let down your guard for even a minute and get nonchalant about your business.

You know those massage girls that stand at the entrance to Fields? I swear that young girl was out there with them in those pink uniforms. I was afraid to make eye contact though because I had another girl with me. But I find it odd that she'd be a bargirl one night and then a massage girl the next. So maybe something fishy was going on?

But the divergence from the normal thing of barfine-then-fuck session seems to be where trouble occurs. The above is an example. Another is the runner who takes off after a few hours of bar hopping with the gent. I'd like to say its good advice to spend no more than 20 minutes with her after departing the bar until reaching your hotel room; it simply eliminates these kinds of problems. Probably shouldn't take her to a sit-down restaurant (Kok's, Phillies) for dinner first, as she might eat slowly and want to go bar hopping or other time-waster thereafter. However, many gents live for the bar-hop and hanging around with the girl (some mistakenly think they are on a real date -- they have said it to me, out loud, the delusion is clear).

I usually just pop into JBee / McD (depending which is closest to my homeward track), and buy the girl some TAKEAWAY to take back to the room. I say I do not like sitting.

And eating. They LOVE that junk and will follow it.

By the way, the girls like fast food much more than Phillies or some fancy restaurant meals which they usually only peck at. I have even seen some romeos, on a fantasy trip, buying girls a buffet. Last time was in Angeles I noticed two romeos taking two girls to a buffet. The staff were laughing (in Talalog) at the way the girls did not even know which plates to pick up. Sad, the poor things would have had so much more fun in Jolly Bee having the JBee spaghetti gunge (TAKEAWAY only of course!

She was on a 2 day bar fine which is what I like to do to keep a girl for a possible road trip companion. My mistake was I tagged along to her house and let my guard down.

Dealing with pinays requires a firm handling. An average pinay can not take charge or are not used to decide so much outside their own perimeter. So when it comes to food, eating and location I decide where I want to eat. Even if it means they will sit staring at the food wonder what the fuck this is I don't care. It seems as long as they see rice they will be fine. As long as I pay I am the boss (in a nice way ofcourse but no fuck I want to set foot in a Jolly joint) as I am in need of good food.

It does not take long for them to accept the fact and the family is more than happy to enjoy the money she sends. I have been with enough province girls and have gone with them to their place.

These girls like to flash their money when they go home. One real pretty girl bought a motorbike, bought a small house, put nice furnishings, concrete floor etc. Of course the family and neighbors know how she makes money.

Except for OFW everybody knows it is not easy to make big money in Phi except to work in a bar, Karaoke etc.

Rule of thumb is never listen to their life story and why she does this line of work. Just enjoy, treat her well and off you go to the next girl.

The hooker gives your room & phone number by text and someone will call and make all sorts of threats. Remember, most of these girls have boy friends who are security guards / trike drivers / drug addicts and they live off the girls earnings. Some have lesbian relationships with scheming butches. These people can cause a problem as they often live in squatter areas and out to scavenge what they can. Things are not nice behind the scenes. Of course, the hooker would not tell you about all this. But the AC locals will.

And the bar so called 'owner': this character could also be a 'manager' working illegally without a work permit and will be the last person to help you. They too are open to blackmail if they try and impose strongly on these low life people.

Remember what your agenda is and what the hooker's agenda is.

Think with your head.

Remember also that guns are commonly held by the criminals in Philippines.

So I Talked to mamasen about my 2nd day barfine return and I got it back and told her what happened. She told me she talk to the girl when she's sees her next and I left it at that. I never knew what happened about this after cause I nee returned to this bar again. This was Oct 2006. I been back to AC 5 more times since then and I still don; t go back in cause I got 100's of other places to Party in. Just wanted to remind people that scams can hit you quick without warning no matter how long you have been in country. So be careful out there. Just cause you have known a girl for a long time don; t mean she will not scam you eventually.
