I have read various recent information regarding a crackdown on whats on show in the go-go bars. So the $64,000 question is; what comes off and what stays on?

I ended up going to the Great Plaza Massage. I first showed up at 2pm and there were very few girls in the bowl. The price was 2400 for most of them and 2900 for the ones on the rightside of the bowl. One of the mamasan said they were eating and that I should come back in 10 minutes. I walked around a bit and came back in about 30 minutes. Not that many more girls but there were a few. I picked #32. Turns out she was 31 but looked younger. I had a few nights for butterflying while my current GF had her period. I haven't been in Phuket during low season since a long time. Compared to peak season, some girls obviously have gone somewhere else, but still enough girls remaining there. There are much less customers (and less well off), so prices get low. Obviously several not ugly girls end the night alone, as I have noticed at disco closing time.
On the disco scene, no much changes. Old girls concentrate in TaiPan, it's a bit better in Tiger disco, but no many young girls either. A few pretty girls in bars, if you can spot them.
The main problem is that there are always big waves in the sea, so if you want to really swim, you have to find a swimming pool.

Day 1.

I book a pool view deluxe at Thara Patong for Bht2500 (off-season rate) as I would like decent accommodation. I get the old wing Garden View with a sliver of pool view. Room is not as nice as LK in Pattaya and looks a little more dated than the pictures on the internet but still OK. I head off to Bangla Road and see quite a few freelancers. I know there has been a bit of a debate here with Pattaya, IMO the freelancers on Bangla Road are much better than Beach Road in Pattaya. Of course you need to watch out for the ladyboys like everywhere else.

I spot a hottie at Butterfly Bar at Soi Dragon but she looks like a bartender, will explore later. Then I reach a bar towards the end of the center part of Soi Tiger and spot 2 slim hotties. I decide to do the rest of the Bangla tour before returning. I spot another amazing hottie with big tits on Soi Tiger, but it looks too good to be true (ladyboy). I return to the Libra Bar but I can’t decide between the two hotties because they look alike, I then find out they are sisters and are both called “Jay”. I consider BF the both of them but decide against it and go for one. I negotiate for bbbj, she checks me out, thinks for a moment and agrees LT B1500. BF was B500, I say its after midnight, and they let her go for B300, I find out later its B300 after 1am as midnight is considered still early. At the front desk, there were 2 Indian guys with 2 ladyboys, I don’t think they know, but I keep to myself. Day 3

I did not know this, but it is some form of election day today so there are no alcohol sales, so all the bars are closed until midnight tomorrow, although a couple of restaurants were more than happy to serve me a round with my meal. “Jay” had my number so she was going to come and spend the day with me. She arrives shortly after my nap. I offer her the room service menu and anything she wants from the minibar. She orders something from the menu and just water. Day 4

She leaves early in the morning again without having breakfast. I agree to see her tonight at the bar after midnight when they open again. Later that day she calls me to confirm that I will be coming.

I first head to a disco on the main beach called Bananas. I think it was B400 entry which included 2 drinks. I have 1 drink and gave my other drink to a nice Thai “good girl”. We had a good chat, then at about 1 am, I abandon this bird in the bush and head back to my Jay, the bird in the hand.

This time I buy “Yaya” a drink, I sort of felt sorry for her. I also buy the bar manager a drink and another girl who is sort of hot and also has a pierce tongue. Jay makes me give her sister B100 tip. I leave with Jay again for the last time. Same deal, this time she does have breakfast with me in the morning.

So there you go. I know there has been some debate about how Pattaya is better, Phuket isn’t so bad after all. What I did not find in Pattaya, I did find in Phuket on my first night and was happy not to “butterfly” and stick with the same girl for the rest of my stay.

From time to time some one will ask about massage parlours in Phuket.

While almost every Resort Hotel has a massage service, I hope to provide some info about some Soapies in Phuket.

We plan to stay in Patong Resort. Is it a nice hotel? Girl friendly? Any hapenning places nearby the resort?

I stayed there on my first visit to Patong some 11 visits ago. Only 100m from Bangla, so location is not a problem. The beach is 2 blocks away. I checked out after one night because it was NOT girl-friendly. It is a large hotel that will be basically empty during low season. You will be the only monger in the large lobby with tour groups. Altogether, the vibe was clearly not what I was hoping for. I checked in to the Safari Beach Hotel and have been going back ever since. Same pricing, on the Beach, 40m from Bangla, small pool, NO joiner fee, small boutique style hotel, with great management. Only 3 star, so don't expect Shangri-la style, but it has every thing I need. Oh yeah, I almost forgot one of my favorite things, they serve breakfast at their beach restaurant named Concaved. Nothing like a nice cup of java, the sea, a beautiful girl across the table, to help recharge the spent batteries. Damn, I wish I were there now.

be aware, that these strains are all around asia. i know it because i caught one recently. none of the well known antibiotics worked, it even worsened!
finally i needed 3 shots of cephtriaxone im in my thigh, each 1g (!) to get it removed. every 24 hrs and thats quite a lot.
supported by some new antibiotics i've never heard of. 3rd generation i was told.

just for your info. i've learned my lesson.
