I heard that one of the strip clubs had opened a sports bar and offered the girls at a discounted price there. Does anyone have any details on that?

I looked up King George online. There is what is described as a sports bar called King George.

It's on Blvd Francisco Medina Ascencio, next to Aqua. Is that the King George bar you meant?

Is it a sports bar that also has available girls?

By the way, I looked up Aqua online (since it's next door to King George).

Many reviews are that Aqua is a ripoff. Is that true?

I will be in Puerto Vallarta soon, from Nov 30- Dec 10. My first trip to Mexico.

For the other clubs. What frustrates me is its hard to find out what is available and at what cost. Taxis are worthless since they are probably promoting places with the best kickback. Taxis can tell you about a few clubs, maybe their cover, and will drive you there. I did visit a few to get their prices:

Taboo was 2700 pesos for 30 minutes. Harem was 3000 pesos for 30 minutes. Candy was 3400 pesos for 30 minutes. The 15 minute sessions were not much less than 30 minute sessions for these clubs. My taxi driver had said Taboo was the most expensive, maybe he was talking about a different service maybe he was vying for a different kickback. Each of these other clubs had a entrance fee above 200 (taboo was 280, the others may have been the same or maybe something like 240). The lady's drinks are also over 200 pesos at those places.

I did try Taboo for a bit. The meseras were pretty pushy there, and insisted on a tip, so I bounced before taking a girl. They said they had 20 girls there but I only saw 5-6, and 1 was doable for me. The mesera vibe ruined it, there were probably more girls worth seeing if I waited.

I think King George asked for 2000 pesos for 30 minutes. I skipped at the time since it seemed expensive compared to Andromeda, but that's a better deal than the other strip clubs I saw so maybe I'll go back. It did have some cuties during the day, I think I saw one of them at a different club I checked out at night (sorry I forget where).

Last, I guess some girls start to gather at Bolivia and Guatemala after midnight. When I checked it out (shortly after midnight) there was only 2 girls and a lot of trannies. They were honest / friendly about what they were, so it wasn't a bother to check.

My questions for the community:

- any other places I should check out?

- have you negotiated better rates at any of the clubs? In particular I am wondering about King George. (I wasn't taking notes when I checked it out).

- any advice for the escort scene in PV? Is there one?

I've gone to Andromeda a few times recently. They have a 100 pesos cover, but if you run into the right person you can get a pass to go in free. 15 minute dances are 850,30 minutes is 1550. Lady's drinks are 120 or 240. You can talk to each girl a few minutes before you're offered to buy a drink or dance, if you pass she will probably leave. Before buying anyone a drink I'the make sure I'm interested by asking about what they do in the cabin. If I'm interested in taking the girl, it seems worth getting a drink first to get a sense of how into it they are.

You have to log in to facebook to see that.

However, the door guys still try to get you to give them a "tip", which can amount to the same thing. I haven't been there recently, but that was how it was when I was there. If they reinstated the cover charge, there is a way around it. There are guys out on the main drag who are handing out promotional brochures for the club. I think they used to include a waiver of the cover charge. You have to be there at the right time to get the brochure.

The prices you quoted are for FS in the back. You can also get a lap dance in the same rooms. It was 250 pesos for ten minutes the last time I was there. That is another way to test the ladies' performance. They leave the door to the room open or slightly ajar for the lap dances, but the rooms are at the end of a dead end hallway, so nobody can really seen in. These lap dances tend to be higher mileage than the ones you might get at the table when you buy a lady drink.

Tapanko is in the zona roja. If you don't like it you can walk over to Oassys strip club or to Las Alazanas brothel across the parking lot. Las Alazanas was 500 pesos last time I was there. It serves the night time low end of the market. Another low end option is Las Antorchas by the marina which is open during the daytime. Mamitas is inland from Walmart, beside El y Ella, which used to be good. El y Ella closed and then reopened, so please post a review if you go there.
