A swift update from a recent trip. Pub240 is cheek by jowl with Yuma Sauna and New Aribau ***** club. I suspect that the ladies circulate all three establishments. Don't go early, they all open around 19. 00 local and even then the girls were just arriving. I would have gone with perhaps 1 in 5 of the girls, so a fair choice. Euro 20 cover to enter Pub240 including your first drink. Not sure about entrance to the Sauna (my Spanish isn't great), but the lady on the door said that 1/2hour was E100, full hour was E200. I'm a bit of a fan of the direct approach, so this is on the 'to-do' list. The block where this is happening is just behind the hotel at 568 Av Diagonale, a mile or two due north of Placa Catalunya. Diagonal and Hospital are the closed metro stations. Lots of busses serve this part of Diagonale to, including 6, 7, 33. Check the TMB website for all your public transport needs.
SWs in the South end of Las Ramblas a disappointment both in looks and numbers. I gave up wasting my time and had a beer instead.
I stumbled on a local website where girls from the clubs advertise directly. Cutting out the middleman, I suppose. Again a bit of a test of Spanish, but a second browser window and google's translate window open helped me out. Some really high class girls for E100 all-in. Other bargains abound. First time lucky with 'Liz'. More secure and comfortable than any club or SW. Have a few clicks around anuncios eroticos (erotic ads, I guess) on the loquo.com site.

Streetwalkers and Massage Places
First, let me say that I found it very helpful to stay near the airport. It's only about a 15 minute drive to downtown, cheaper, easier to park, and most importantly – whenever you venture out, to get back to your hotel you just follow the signs for the airport. There are so many airport signs you can't get lost.
Regarding SWs. At night, there's a big bunch of good looking SWs near the Nou Camp Stadium. I drove through in the daytime and didn't see anything, but every night, they were out in full force.
To get to the Nou Camp Stadium area. From the airport area, follow the signs for "Ronda de Dalt" and you will end up on highway B20. Take Exit 11 for "Avinguda Diagonal". Stay on "Avinguda Diagonal" and turn right on "Carrer de Martí I Franquès". It's about the 4th possible right turn. At the bottom of the hill the street ends (you will see the stadium. Camp Nou / Estadi del FC Barcelona). Turn left onto "Avinguda de Joan XXIII" and stay to the right. You can't miss them. Also, the side streets along "Carrer de Martí I Franquès" are good, but be warned. There are Trannies out there also, some standing out there completely naked! I've never seen anything like it. Also, so many decent looking SWs in such a small area. It's strange because "Carrer de Martí I Franquès" appears to be the center of a University and I would not have expected to see SW action there.
For 30 euros they will do covered half & half in the car. No back door access. Another strange thing is you park right along the streets (or on a nearby dirt road) which are walking distance from where you picked them up. After the session, they just exit the back seat and walk back to their post. All the girls that I picked up were Eastern European. Gave good service, looked great, and all for what I consider an excellent price.
I saw a police car here and there just driving around, but there weren't bothering anyone. All the cars were rocking and they didn't come a knocking.
Regarding Massage places I visited both "Balmes 74" and "Muntaner 14". I found Balmes to be much better than Muntaner. First, Balmes was 70 euros for a full hour and Muntaner was 50 euros for half an hour and 100 euros for a full hour. I complained and told them about the price difference (there is a website that appears to show them as sister-locations), but they claimed to not be affiliated or even know of Balmes. Anyway, it was 30 euros more at Muntaner for an hour. Second, Balmes had all Chinese girls and all appeared to be in their early 20s with good bodies. Some of the faces were not the greatest and a few had bad breath, but they gave a line-up of 5-7 girls and each time I had no trouble picking a good one. Muntaner had slightly older Eastern European girls. Now, I usually prefer Eastern European girls, but all of these were overweight and a few were flat-out obese. They also gave a line-up of 5-7 girls and there was only one that I would even consider, of course that's the one that I picked. Service was a little more GFE at Balmes and the girls were more submissive. They also did BBBJ when requested. Both places the action continued (multiple nuts) throughout the allotted time. Neither offered back door access. I liked Balmes much better. As always YMMV.
