Did another exploration of Tsuchiura. This time, I went to a soap named Prin Prin (which, when I bothered to look it up in the dictionary, turns out to mean custard pudding, custard pudding). Soon the man came for me and told me the fee was 20,000 yen for 70 minutes. When I offered my discount coupon, he refused to take it, explaining that the discount was for Japanese only. I decided to proceed despite the obvious discrimination, since there aren?t too many soaps at this reasonable price that come recommended as having nice girls and willing to accept foreigners. I was introduced to Tomo chan, who looked nice enough, but is certainly no knock-out. She led me up to the room, and from then on, the experience was considerably better. I would not go to a Hostess bar in Ginza unless you have a friend who knows what the table charges and hostess charges are. You could easily get hit for a grand US unless you know what you are doing. Hamamatsu cho which is two stations South of Yurakucho has a branch of Madonna which you can read about on previous posts.
