Praying for prostitutes. Priceless!
Observe any WG about to enter a place and you will see she will spend a few seconds addressing her attention to the Buddha area any place has.
Go to NEP after 6 pm and you will see the girls flowing in to the bars and all spending a prayer, lit up some incense stick to Buddha
Says a lot!

I am planning my trip to BKK&Pattaya for the last days of November and first days of December. Do you think flooding is still a problem at that time and will there be anything left in shops like water after people have panicked? Are shops like tailors and massage parlors going to be open like life as usual?

Has anyone tried the Devil's Den full service bus? I'm wondering what people who have think of the value at 14, 000 to 18, 000 baht.

Sounds like DR BJ (on Soi 7/1) is located exactly where Magic Table is, or was?

Do you think flooding is still a problem at that time and will there be anything left in shops like water after people have panicked? Are shops like tailors and massage parlors going to be open like life as usual?
Inner Bangkok is fine, so do not worry about Sukhumvit road. At most there will be floodwater coming up the drain system causing minor floods in inner Bangkok, it will not be surface water coming into the area to flood, a very big difference.
You must remember that Bangkok is a massive megacity and the term"Bangkok" therefore covers a vast area of land. When people say flooding in Bangkok its like calling flooding in Lambeth as being flooded London.
Bangkok people are also pussies, they panic at anything as they simply live in a mega city and pampered like babies. So when a bit of real life comes there way, like potential natural flooding they do into a state of panic as if the sky is falling in. Whilst their parents would simply have said so what and carried on, these little babies now panic and panic and panic. So the panic shopping is already done, the stores are now re-stocking and there are no shortages of anything. 7-11 ran out of bottled water but other stores like Family Mart have plenty, and now 7-11 are re-stocking so the panic buying stage is over.
Life carries on as normal, lots more fresh girls coming into town getting ready for the high tourist season and so things are good at the moment.
As I said, the worst you will see in inner Bangkok is possibily a day or two of flooded streets due to drainage system full and overflowing onto roads kind of flooding. Not the same kind of massive water overland flooding seen in the central area's and north of Bangkok.
has anyone tried the devil's den full service bus? i'm wondering what people who have think of the value at 14, 000 to 18, 000 baht.
on my way home to pattaya last week in a taxi i was thinking about this. it's one of those things that sounds good on paper (except price-wise) , but the practicality of it is wayyy off. one drawback would definitely be that the roads are not totally smooth. another is that the driver would not be traveling at a constant velocity (e.g. slowing down and speeding up). but if you really insist then i will offer the same service to you for 10,000 baht. drinks, van, natural gas, and driver 1,700 baht. 2 girls 2,000 baht (1,000 each). and the other 6,300 baht right here in my pocket!

Dangling
I like your attitude, Morris.
I do feel, however, that some travel related warnings and price info can be handy, at times.
Welcome to the land of smiles.
The dangling participle in your last sentence,"I plan to do me fare share after I arrive" made me wonder, tho. I'm guessing you plan to do your fair share of making useful, entertaining posts, as opposed to bickering, right?
Happy chasing.

Sukhumvit area is dry
Just arrived in Bangkok and staying at the Dream Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 15. Weather is sunny and the whole Sukhumvit area is as dry as an old woman's pussy!
Sounds like DR BJ (on Soi 7/1) is located exactly where Magic Table is, or was?
Speaking of DR BJ, what all does this place offer? How's the service? Their website is kind of vague on the subject. BJ's are obvious and the site definitely suggests other things are on the menu. I noticed they have a bathtub in one of the rooms. From the pictures the place looks clean with a kind of kooky theme. Those who've been there, what do you think? Is it worth a visit?

Those who've been there, what do you think? Is it worth a visit?
Well, I found an article written by DR BJ's first customer, so I'll answer my own questions. According to the article it is indeed quite a different place. The girls are dressed as 'nurses' and 'consultants'. The nurses were 700 baht for a blowjob and 1700 for a full service soapy. The consultants were 1000 and 2500 respectively. The article mentioned a weird system for selecting girls where only four girls are offered to a customer 2 nurses and two consultants. It was mentioned that there were 20 girls on hand at the time guy arrived and he was the only customer. Dr BJ's official site says they have from 20 to 60 girls available at any given time. I wonder what would happen if you asked to see all available girls? The guy chose a consultant, according to his account it sounded like a damn quality BJ, but he did mention it wasn't like the best he'd ever experienced. The website has a FAQ section that mentions that customers can take more than one member of their staff at a time and that some of their girls will service couples or single women. The BJ rooms are fully private. (not just a curtain). They open at 11:00am and close at 2:00pm. Pictures are not allowed in house. They are indeed located at Sukhumvit Soi 7/1. The website also mentions that they are a connected brand to Annies Soapy Massage and as far as health checks, all their staff will follow the same strict regulations for customer and staff safety and will be registered on the same health procedures as Annies. Take out is available, but looks pretty damn expensive. I'm not finding the price right now and my battery on my laptop is dying. Pm me if you want to know and I'll find it or just check their site.
