I recently went to the salon established for several years on Basseina street, near Gulliver mall.

I walked into the building, went upstairs to the door and rang the bell. I heard some noise inside, but nobody answered for a minute or two.

At the same time, I heard people going up and I got away from the door pretending to go up to the top floor.

2 cops, one with his hand on his machine gun, showed up running up the stairs very aggressive, they wanted my passport and phone to confirm that I had called the salon. I didn't give them and talked to them for a while. They wanted to take me to the police station.

I gave them the first bill I found in my pocket: hundred dollars.

They were then very happy and greeted me warmly, telling me to go back to the salon and relax, which of course I didn't do. And they left.

Obviously, I'm not about to go back there.

I & a bud went to a location out of the center to an apartment where we were told some pretty girls were working there. As we were about to knock on the door 2 guys appear from nowhere wanting to check our IDs pretending to be LEOs in plain clothes. When I refused, one of them became very agitated and he produced a knife, I stood my ground and threatened to break his legs if he came near. Long story short, my build and height saved us from potential blackmail and financial loss. When they realized I was serious and angry they just walked away.

Since then I never visited any incall apartments anywhere in EE countries. On the few occasions I did in the past it was in Varna, Bulgaria, I made sure then I was accompanied by a well built local taxi driver who came up with me to the apartments. It was a waste of time anyway as they were nothing but ugly milfs.

Be careful visiting apartments on your own especially in out of the center locations in EE Countries.

I didn't know it happens, me and my friends never had that kind of problem in Kiev.

No machine guns or anything like that, but three cops in a police car driving after me when I went into a backyard in Basseina, asking me what I wanted to do there (if I was looking for working girls etc). Long story short, they did not achieve anything, they even said sorry when they left. Empty handed. Know I check any nearby standing cars before I enter somewhere - until this scam is over. No rats will get bribes from me.

Never click or download any links sent on WhatsApp / Viber. Could be malicious software.

Photos on Backpage are not the of real girls if it is an agency. If you message them though, they will send you real photos. Just be very clear when you choose a girl that you will meet he girl somewhere outside your apartment, and if she is not the one you chose or does not look like the photo they sent, you will send her back immediately and not even take her up to the apartment. That works. I've used a couple of agencies I found on backpage. PM me if you want details.

It allows a handler to post daily its "on girls" without the need for websites and unnecessary real photos. It's true about fake photos and bait & switch but the key is finding the agencies with reputation. I do believe prostitution is illegal in Ukraine, just like USA, so I would look to BP as a possible medium of the future. Whats App with BP seems a powerful and cheap tool for somebody that wants to be ambitious and stay under the radar. Keep in mind their are pretty girls in Kiev that want to give covered BJ's and not DFK, which means they can only price themselves at the lower end. BP would be perfect for this.

Just my opinion that fake photos are completely acceptable if an agency is delivering girls at the mid or lower end of prices. Real photos should apply only for high end.

Even though I don't consider Kiev as the main destination of my future trip I've decided to share this post on Kiev page because as far as I'd noticed it's most visited page on Ukraine thread. Currently I am hesitating between Lviv and Odessa due to length of the trip (it's going to be 7-8 days and I want to set "fucking marathon" in one of these cities, so I'm going to be into clubbing as well). As I'm going to make my trip in November, it seems to me that since it's not high season among tourists there must more offer for less price (or am I wrong? Since I'm fluent in Russian will it make any difference in establishing contacts with girls in clubs and parties or it's not much of an advantage as long as you put some fancy clothes on. At present I'm inclined to think that Odessa would be better option due to large Russian-speaking population, but on other hand some people told me that things could be overpriced there because of vast influx of tourists and local people in terms of lack of Crimea as vacation resort. Sorry for poor English in advance.

Given aforementioned criteria which city would be worth to visit both considering price and quality.

I've never been to Ukraine and I would be really grateful for any tips from forum members.

.[/QUOTE]There are better experts than me on this board, but I would recommend Odessa all the way. Some great clubs and bars, and more importantly they speak Russian which will make the day-to-day less hassle. Lviv is a beautiful city and has some great spots too, and whilst some will speak Russian, the main language is Ukrainian, and you're going to get less hassle from the odd idiot taking exception.

Now back to all things Kiev.
