There are also quite a few rooms rented by groups of 3/4 girls who advertise on the [URL]espacoterapias.com.br[/URL] site. Usually girls who've built a clientele and think they can make more money with their own / shared space rather than kick are $50/ session back to the prive.

Well, I just took a first hand look at those above ground people mover trolleys today. I think someone had already mentioned it in an earlier post. This has injury or death scenario written all over it. With so many people walking and texting at the same time, its just a matter of time. Not to mention all of the dumbass drunks that might decide to take a nap in between the rails. Geez-Luize!

I've had a permanent visa since 1997. I understand that: "Permanent visas are automatically voided if the visa holder stays out of Brazil for 24 consecutive months. " I am currently in the USA. I was last in Brazil on Oct. 22,2014.

Can someone with experience please tell me: Until what date can I return to Brazil without having my visa voided?

October 21, or Oct. 22,2016 would be the obvious answer, but the Polica Federal may have a different way of calculating. Got to make reservations. Thanks.

I would come by the 21st as if you show up on the 22nd the passport control agent will undoubtedly need to converse with their supervisor about whether or not the visa expired on the 21st. Passport control people aren't exactly well trained. But they don't do anything out of the ordinary with their time calculations. I also have a permanent visa and was given the terms of that visa by a reputable immigration law firm in Rio (although I wouldn't call them the most competent of lawyers).

Further into my quest to understand the mind of a GDP.

What types of things would GDPs like to do, but probably haven't (locally) because they either can't afford it or want to go with a guy but they don't want a real relationship. Okay, I know I'm going to get flamed for that last part, but humor me. Yes, I know they're interested in money, cock, and clothes, so. Beyond that!

There have been a lot of rumors in here lately, and it's getting to be pretty damn annoying! Termas Aeroporto is opening up again because some GDP working in another terma said so. And Termas 65 is open again because yet another GDP said she was working there. And now "evidently" Centaurus is "permanently closed" without any proof of that presented whatsoever, again except for what some GDP said. All I'm really seeing here is rumors upon more rumors. I wish you guys would lay off the rumor mill and come in here presenting hardcore facts only versus just what somebody "said"!

Is it really permanent or a temporary (somebody forgot to pay a kickback) thing? That sucks if it's permanent. I hadn't gone yet but was planning to on my next trip.

Aeroporto reopening was from two GDP sources and I promised to give an update next week when I am actually on the ground.

T65 reopening I have no idea where this came from.

And, as you note, it was you who said a GDP told you about Aeroporto. Now I don't trust what most of those girls say as far as I can throw my car! It's nothing but rumors that you're helping to spread. Stop it, and come in here with facts after you've verified what the sources said.

And Centaurus closed permanently? And how do they know that if, as you said, the situation was that the girls showed up and the premises was closed? What other evidence do they have that the closure is permanent? It's happened before at Centaurus, only for us to see the doors opened again (probably after the right payoffs were made). Absent some other evidence that the closure is permanent (and you didn't present any), then I don't see how you (or they) know that the closing is for good.

Be sure of the full story first before you present the conclusion to it. If you have solid evidence of the permanence of the action (such as there was a sign on the door stating "out of business" for example), then share it. Otherwise, then again I say it's just a rumor that's being spread!
