Clams? If so they are the oldest animals on ;the planet. I guess it would make sense that they would have the most developed anti bodies and resistant inclinations.

Maybe I'm reading the site wrong but I don't see them listed on there, just on the internet special section. I emailed them but the email got returned, I'm sure it being low season I can just show up at there gates when I arrive. Anyways I'm between your suggestion and the "thara patong", they got a offer "stay 4 nights and pay for 3".

Anyone that can sway my desicion would be much apreciated!

come on man, it is possible to get some serious shit from sea clams. especially with the dumping and extreme pollution of asia. even in the states if you eat mussles during the wrong season you can die.
it is true that the clam is the oldest living animal, and is therefore very possible the one that may spark the fire.
i did have a vision of some strange growth growing out of poopbunnys thigh. injections into this beast that squirts and grows, while you reconsider this whole hobby.

Beach Side - The 3 Beach Wings rooms are very nice, updated and recommended for privacy and beautiful rooms. The Beach House is a new acquisition and I've only seen the seaview room, which is ok, and I can also recommend. The Beach House is not quite as nice as the Beach Wing as it will be updated soon.
Lobby Side (across the street from beach side) - Can only recommend the Safari Delux and Safari Delux Lanai. Recently updated and good value. The Contemporary Thai rooms are NOT recommended as they need to be updated.
Thara Patong - Never stayed there, but when I walked by this hotel it did not look as nice as the Safari Beach. Maybe someone can comment on the rooms.

So I'm passing thru Bangkok in January and to be honest, asian women are not my thing. I ran into a couple drunken American fellas at Nana Plaza, who are now BK residents and ask them if any euro or white gals avail. They tell me I need to go to Pattaya or Phuket I think, I can't recall as I was very drunk at the time. They said there are many avail.

Does anyone know if there is some truth to this? I will be going back to BK this fall for some dental work and would love to venture elsewhere if what they speak of really exists. I would appreciate any help.

I just booked there, got a decent rate of 2500 per night, pay for 5 stay 7 nights. I was gonna go with the safari but I was told there was construction in that area right now and it wouldn't be worth it.

So I chose the thara. I hope I don't regret it, at least there is 2 of us so I'll know whos on the other end.

Got a question about afterhours in patong. Where are they now?

There was a club called safari that was a short taxi ride away, it had a out door bar built around a lagoon.

Also, there was a place right across the alley from the tiger (can't rember the name).

Anyways I haven't been to Patong for about 1. 5-2 years now so I'm not sure where the afterhours are now, any help would eb great as I like to stay up into the early morning on most nights.

I don't believe Gonorrhea is relevant in any way.

The Clam is an Urban Legend it seems:
