I was in a place like that in Camden about 4 years ago, cant remember the name.. but you paid maybe £10 in, then u could use the facilities that amounted to one small sauna, that no one bothered using, and there was no pressure to take a girl. They advertised a luxurious lounge, that was more like a doctors waiting room, when everyone sat around smoking including the girls. At the time it was about £50 for 1/2 hour, all east European girls. Was ok. Also everyone was really young, even the receptionist and Bouncers were only about 20 years old!! i felt like a Gramps and I was only about 33 at the time!!

I've been to this place in Euston three times over the past couple of years, and it's a decent place.Quite expensive, mind.

I went earlyish evening each time, never later than 9pm, and it was fairly quiet. At that time it wasn't a case of a big group of girls sitting round chatting to the guys, more a case of changing in the locker room, choosing a girl (there were about 4 - 10 there on different trips, including some very attractive ones, although they always say it gets busier later) and going up to a room with her.

Service has always been very good. Total damage was about 100 quid each time for 1./2 hour so not cheap, but if you're staying locally it's a good reliable option.

I'll add my vote for Steam and Sun as the best bet in the King's Cross/Euston area. Since my last visit there, they have obviously raised their rates -- I used to do the Saturday afternoon "matinee" for £70 including entrance. At those times, there were never more than three girls working, but all have been doable. Usually a pretty international staff, from Greeks to Italians to Thais. Service has been good, but I've never been able to manage BBBJ and don't know if it might be possible with any of the girls. In contrast, I found the women at the other parlours in the area to range from unattractive to hideous.

A word of advice: get very familiar with the posted prices at S&S. I've had the impression from a couple of the girls that they would have asked a higher price if I hadn't known the posted rates. I've had some girls ask for the money upfront while others waited until afterward; obviously, if you can, try to pay after the deed is done.

I went passed a few clip joints but as I don't look 18 I wasn't asked if i wanted to go in (not that I would have). I have found that some massage places are doing free entry with voucher printed of there website. Dreams (Walthamstow) and anabels (Leyton) are two that I are doing a free entry promotion. My advice : run away from the Soho area, or at least from those strip clubs .They are "legal" rips off . the other day they wanted to charge me 300 pounds for being seated in a sofa during 5 minutes talking to a lady who said to be my hostess. You really ought to talk from wider experience or listen to those that have.

The general rule is that all the so-called strip clubs in London are dangerous rip off joints. You have to know the exceptions. These are totally the opposite. If you go to Sunset Strip at a busy time you will see the punters drinking at the bar at the open front where the till is situated. You will see them taking a drink downstairs to watch the show and come back. If you are scared the guy on the till will probably let you speak to one or two before paying or going downstairs. I find the place a tad predictable in the shows (it used to be less Americanised) but it is definitely safe.

There is another one but you sound like you know how to get mugged even with a private escort.
