ATM's located all over the place. No trouble finding any.

Can someone please tell be the best way to get to bangkok from Phnom Penh? I am flying in soon and with the airports closed in Bangkok I need to take bus or taxi. What are prices and timeframes?

Betong. True, but poon is poon and cheap enough anyway. The comment about beach road poon being cheaper is correct but bar girls CAN be had for significantly LESS money IF they take a shine to you (particularly if they understand that you want to get them off first. (actually had one thank me)

Assuming of course that are WILLING TO PAY "LONG TIME" Price. She took a LONG TIME to get off the first time but was quite satisfied

This morning was interesting, when I went down for breakfast, it’s included with the room, and sat down at the table outside, within a few minutes guess who shows up at my table, Namon from last yesterday. I asked her sit down and ask if she wants something to eat or drink, she got a Coke. We talked and she made it clear she want to see me again, read, wanted more money. I didn’t look or sound interested, just making small talk. When I finished eating and telling her good-by her desperation became clear, she offered ST for $10, ah what the hell, so up to my room we went and I had another great time with her.
I paid her and before she left she said she wanted to come back later, I told her that I was busy, she then asked about tomorrow morning, I told her I was leaving for Siem Reap early that morning, sent her on her way.

I took care of some business during the day and got to St. 51 around 9 PM. Stopped in at Shanghai to look around, nice looking younger girls working the bar, but don’t know if they go out. Most of the customers looked like locals setting with girls and I didn’t see what I were ”working” girls walking/setting around. Finished my Coke and left.

At Walkabout I talked to a few girls but nothing moved me until Mah came along. She wasn’t the beauty I wanted, still nice, but there was something about her. She offered yum-yum and anything I wanted, ST at my hotel for $15 and LT for $20, and she said if I wasn’t happy with her I didn’t have to pay so I said OK to LT, we jumped on a motorbike to my hotel.
In the room she was very sexy dancing around doing a little strip tease before saying she was going to take a shower. What was interesting was she actually took a shower, the other girls just used the bidet to rinse off. When she finished she told me to take a shower, I told her I’d just taken one, she grabbed my ass and told me to wash good so I headed to the shower.
When I cam out she was under the covers and threw them back to invite me in so I joined her. As soon as I lay down she was all over me, hot wet DFK, lots of body kisses as she made her way down. Mah was a winner though! If I run into her again I’ll take her.

If I was there now and wanted to go to BKK, I'd take a bus down to Sihanoukville and overnight there, then take another bus to Koh Kong the next day. Can cross overland at KK to Thailand, then bus again to BKK. It's a long trip that is best spread over 2 or 3 days.

There used to be a boat from S'ville to KK, but I heard it doesn't run anymore now that the road is good.

from BKK take a bus to TRAT (Ekkamai station) then get a minibus for 120B to the border. TAKE THE BLUE AND WHITE BUS (250 B or so but I didnt use it this time) - NOT THE ORANGE STRIPE BUS THAT LEAVES AT 430 UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE 8 HOURS GETTING THERE - IT'S 3 HOURS TO PATTAYA ALONE - THE BLUE WHITE TAKES THE KLAENG CUTOFF ROAD AND TAKES ABOUT 5 HOURS TOTAL INCLUDING A QUICK STOP IN CHANTABURI.

Unless you get an electronic visa (over the net) expect to pay either $25 or 1000B (IF you are stupid enough to use one of the touts they will hold you up for 1200B - 1000 for the guys in the khaki shirts and 200 for themselves) I took a taxi with another guy. Taxi is about 2500B and you can actually split it 3 ways - but if they stop along the way for a BIG bag or 2 of rice, your bag might be in the front seat. Takes you to the main market in PP

you wont reach KK before the bus ($12) leaves at 830am.

going from Pattaya is slower - takes 5 hours or so from there - get the bus at central and sukhumvit - get off at the main bus station proceed as before Probably need to overnite in KK for $5 or so - eat before leaving - no food until the last bridge where they make a stop. The taxi went straight in - left at 130 and got in at 5. No problems until about 50km from PP - then the traffic absolutely SUCKS - THAT LAST 50KM TOOK 1.5 HOURS

Actually I did see it but it wasn't a C-section. I asked her about it and she said she'd been in a taxi/truck accident and required surgery. She had several others as well.

Shorttime at WA is about $10 and if it was indeed "up to you" thats what you SHOULD have paid. Even the brothels are trying to get $10 now but it IS available for $5 EVEN THERE.

PERSONALLY I don't really CARE - BUT - IF they get used to higher payments, that will become the NORM. Remember - barangs pay probably 3X the Cambodian guy prices anyway so paying 10X or 15X isn't particularly good for the locals

Even in Pattaya, the shorttime price is only up to maybe 500B and Thai inflation and cost of living are a LOT higher than Cambodia

And you're right about the brothels, they wanted $10. I stopped in one yesterday, looked around the drab dirty place, shown the 15 or so girls sitting on a bench, they all looked so sad, I just left.

and IF you negotiate - the $10 will come down to at least 6 anyway. Unless they are subsidizing the locals with barang income, it's going to be WAY too expensive for the locals (they only spend $2 or so anyway)

Hang on a minute - you can get it for next to nothing if you really want to haggle it down in the brothels but I think ReallyNice Guy was talking about Walkabout. I would like to hear of anyone getting laid for 6$ from there in recent months!

$20 might be a bit high for Walkabout but not outrageously so. It is not just ISG members there. We cannot drive the price down by having some sort of ISG members agreement. I'm all for not overpaying, but see no point in giving anyone a hard time for paying only slightly above the going rate when they're on holiday and it's their first shot. Give the guy a break!

I usually paid $15 at Walkabout a couple of months ago and that got me as long as I wanted usually. There's plenty of other ways to be a jerk, judging from some of the characters there, than paying slightly more than you need to. Perhaps you want to tell me off too?

Yes it was a brothel comment - thought that was clear that the response was to the previous comment - $10 at walkabout is still about the right ST price

it doesn't matter much - the price is getting a bit high even considering inflation. I don't pay more than I need to considering some of the "mechanical girls"

Stopped in around 10 PM. Sat with a beautiful Viet girl named Wee, (sp) very good English, for about 10 minutes when someone comes up behind me and wraps her arms around me, it’s Mah from yesterday. I’m nice to her but tell her I’m busy and ask her to leave me alone now. The two girls exchange a few words and then the tone changed to what sound like sharp word between and Mah kissed me and left. I asked Wee if everything was OK and she said “yea, yea, it’s OK” We picked up our conversation and soon were talking service and price. I asked for yum-yum boom-boom for ST at my hotel, she said sure $20, I was going to try and get that down tonight. I asked if I could take photos and she became upset that I would want that. She went on to tell me that guys put photos of the girls on the internet, can you believe some guy would do that, and didn’t want her photos on the internet. I told her thanks and got ready to leave, she stopped me and said could take photos of her with her clothes on and no face, I told her no thanks and got up to leave. Again she stopped me and asked if the other girl, Mah, let me take photos of her with no clothes on, I told her she did. She then told me to go with her and called out to Mah, Wee got up and left, and Mah was right there, all happy and loving me up.
Mah said she like me and was glad I wanted to see her again, I asked how much this time, she said $20 and if I wasn’t happy with her I didn’t have to pay anything. I said if I saw her again I would take her again, so I did.
This time was even better than the last! Same great service but even more fun, sweet and loving and two pops this time. Total GFE!
She wanted to sleep with me but I didn’t want her to stay, nothing left to talk about and I’d got everything I needed, she was sad but we showered together, she dressed, I gave her $20 and a buck for the moto. She was happy and left.
