I'm a bit confused by the challenge of finding info on Scandallo. For the most part, Scandallo is mentioned in great detail here all the time almost on a daily basis. The amount paid to girls varies from monger to monger because that's generally true of freelance clubs.

Conde another typical Brazilian food restaurant was good too first time as well my friend took me to this. A good cheap option would be eating at the food courts in the malls. \par.

Random Thoughts:

Prices in mostly everything in Buenos Aires and sao paulo have gone up be wary of that but you guys probably know that. Speak some basic Portuguese at least because it can be helpful. While I enjoy taking in the Scandallo atmosphere, given that I'm in town for over a month I don't want to make a habit of it. Plus a mediocre experience at $50 is not nearly as disappointing as one at $200. While they're rare for me in Brazil, they're equally common at Scandallo and the clinicas. 57 is fairly quiet, but they have a decent number of girls and the prices are more reasonable. They're also open until 2 am, though in my experience things wind down around 12. It seems like the day prices are 170 R, while night (I think after 9 pm) they go to 350 R (room included).

The staff is friendly, the girls are pretty, and you can have a few drinks and hang out. I wish I knew a few more spots in Moema like it for variety.
