I can't knock guys that do that, if that's their thing or their spanish is sub par, or for whatever reason, however, like you say.

There's definitely a diverse amount of girls out there to meet and have fun with as well.

Me personally, I've been with very few Mansion girls over the years, though I've chatted with many and have 'tipped' many for cab rides, etc, if I liked them, and my days of running around centro looking at casa girls have dwindled greatly.

I've graduated to hanging with girls that actually want to be with me too, though I'm more of a Brazillian now than a Colombiano, LOL.

I think being fairly fluent in Spanish is the key to opening up many doors to unique experiences. The woman seem to trust you more when you can communicate with them on a higher level, and they open up more to you. Especially if you understand and appreciate the culture, ie. Music, food, customs, etc. And of course if you can make them laugh. I've had so many unique experiences in Colombia with woman that I could fill a book with, some maybe unbelievable to most here.

My advice to any young, good looking guys here is to learn the language as quickly as possible, no matter the cost, and immerse yourself into the music and culture. Being handsome has its benefits for sure, but if your handsome and can only speak "baby talk" Spanish, you will soon grow old to the ladies and they will become bored. If your handsome and are fluent in the language and culture the sky is the limit, and soon you will be dating women (non-pros) that most members here think are impossible to date.

Language and communication open a whole new world, that one just doesn't realize until it happens.

I was reminded of that when I first started my time in Brazil.

I was going to rely on my Spanish, however, I quickly found out that it only got me so far, and not far enough.

I once again, studied and practiced like a madman, LOL, with whomever would speak with me until I became proficient in portugues.

I wouldn't really describe myself as handsome, don't even know if I'm good looking really, I'm pretty sure I'm not ugly though, LOL, but I'm friendly and I smile a lot and I can speak the lingo, so I go from maybe a 6 to an 8 on the Chico scale.

At least I hope so, haha.

IMSO Medellin is not a good location for your bachelor party. I know that amongst all of this hooker talk we can become somewhat jaded but IMO Medellin is just a normal city.

Each aspect I love about Medellin would be lessened by having a bunch of foreigners around even if they were my friends. A large group of foreigners can be intimidating. Groups bring unwanted attention in a place like Medellin and each person you meet will view you differently than if you were alone or with a friend. It would be better to visit Medellin by yourself or with a friend on a different trip.

Costa Rica has a way better infrastructure IMO for something like this. If you are looking for somewhere new pick a location, maybe near the water with some things to do, that has a friendlier attitude toward groups of foreigners and / or prostitution.

I am not saying it can't be done. On the hooker side it could be arranged for sure. Good luck whatever you decide.

Post in the medellin hotel and apartment section. Lots of people renting property.

Would check with the Mansion also since they have a steady flow of women, access to more and a bar on premises.
