Could you please provide the evidence that there is an 11 day holiday? I'm only aware of the folllowing:

October 13th-The anniversary of the King's death.

October 23rd- Chulalongkorn Day.

October 26th- The King's funeral.

There isn't even 11 days or even 9 days between the 13th and the 26th for speculation.

One source clearly stated the government declared a 5 day holiday October 25-29. The following article is ambiguously written, but I think it says there is a 5 day cremation service but the holiday is just 1 day.

One Thai friend said her business will be closed October 25-27. This is a large family owned business (perhaps 75 employees)
that is unrelated to entertainment or tourism.

Initial 2 k doesn't include sex, it was only for a nude body massage and shower, aka is we use in India, where people have double names, her name in website was muay before, a year before her name changed to Chinese looking, when I called the spa and asked for Chinese looking they didn't recognize, and I said muay they said yes she will come midnight, she has been working for a long time in this spa. I don't think its very expensive, the girls in this spa are university students who look more beautiful.

Nose is too big to work for me but makes her easy to pick in the group pic. Actually most of the Cherry massage girl pics don't appeal to my personal taste. I lot of broad faces (and broad bodies I guess). Lisa looks to be the only skinny (slim) girl of the bunch in the pics, if she is still there, also not really to my taste. I know a lot of guys are okay With meaty girls, but I seem to be hooked on slim face and skinny legs.

I tried Lord Palace for the first time. Excellent.

Price ranged from about 5400 baht to 10,400 baht, depending on which girl you selected. That is for a 90 minute trip to heaven. About 30 girls were available sitting in a cluster. Each girl wore a letter code tag, which identified her price. I saw no relationship between appearance and price.

I really had no favorite, about 90% of them looked great to me. As I walked around about half of them smiled at me while the others sat expressionless. My first choice was not smiling and the hostess told me that she only goes with Korean men, strike 1. My second choice turned out to be a home run. For the next 90 minutes she treated me like a true VIP. She was actually one of the lower priced girls, I think 5600 baht, but I don't remember. Before the session I spent another 400 baht on drinks and tips. At the end I tipped the girl 1000 baht. I don't regret a single baht and will return in a couple of days.

One thing surprised me was the size of the place, it is huge. While walking to the room I crossed paths with 2 exiting customers. When exiting, I crossed paths with about 5 incoming customers. When I was leaving, more girls were available, perhaps 50 total choices.

My only recommendation to future customers is to not get too hot of a bath. It steams up the whole room and that can be uncomfortable for the bed activities.

But too big, too dark, and does not shave her nether regions.

Just got here and staying at Admiral Premier. Decided to venture for luncj and passed a bunch of aggressive oil massage shops. 400 for oil massage, I said boom boom abs they said yes. Are these places safe, generally ladyboy free? What should I expect to pay? Street is 100 Sayam.

The best area is If you go to Soi 11 past the 11/1 connection to villa market you will see a very small hallway go explore in there there are tons of very good shops that only charge 1000 baht plus massage fee. The girl are out at night hawking too. Best I've seen in Bangkok, except for Tulip which you should try see forum.

I suggest you try some of places recommended in the forum rather than what is closest to your Hotel unless you really have the hots for some particular girl you saw. I must admit to having been a customer of several MPs only because I saw a particularly attractive girl out on the street in daylight. That caused me try Yoremichi, and Pink Massage at the time, and in both cases I was not sorry.

I think I recall some place called "Banana Club Massage" in that alley you mention. Just the name like that is already a no-go. I think the staff are not ladies. LOL.

Personally I normally would try Soi 22,24, 24/1, 26, or 33. Lots of MPs to choose from there. Despite staying at AP in the paste, was never tempted by any MP nearby.
