The notion that I've destroyed the ability to provide "emergency" help is almost laughable. Firstly, as my constant requests for help have been largely ignored (despite being a senior member) it shows me that few people do actually respond that quickly. I'm very grateful to those who did. So guys, get with the actual point of the website. Its to give and share information.

i've been a member here for a few months but haven't really contributed although i've done some discovering myself. i originally found out about this great forum on a website that had search listings for mps that mentioned sandy shoes (more on that in a different post). i'm going to document my experiences, a lot of which i've gone through before joining the forum. my experiences probably arent' that great but i enjoy reading yours and i hope you will find some value in mine.

i don't actually live in dubai but i visit often. i was very reluctant at trying mps because i wasn't sure if they're legit or not and i'm told dubai authorities can be strict so i definitely don't want to end up getting deported or something like that. but then i figured since these mps are out there in the open and some with flashing neon lights at night, they have to be legit. anyway, here it goes.

this was in december. i went to an mp in jlt in a cluster that's close to dubai marina metro station. can't remember which cluster exactly. i was staying a friend's house and i can see it from his balcony. i went there around 11:00 pm. the place was dimly lit. a cute prc was at the reception. this was my first time at an mp. i asked about what they offer and took an hour and a half for 220. was led to a room with a mattress on the floor. was told to put on the blue shorts. i put them on and waited. the masseuse was probably in her mid 20's, i would give her a 6, walks in and starts the massage. it was ok. she would "accidentally" touch my package while i was on my back. on the flip she asked if i wanted a massage "there" but i would have to tip. she said 200. i didn't even try quoting her lower. once i paid her, she dimmed the lights and locked the door. she gave me the hj without access to her assets and that was that. although she wasn't great, the whole mp concept won me over and i was hooked.

so i went back a few days later to the same place, not knowing where else to go and not having a car, thinking i'll try someone else. mind you i didn't know my way around dubai so didn't know where to go discover other mps. was greeted by the same cute prc receptionist and paid my 220 for 1. 5 hours. another girl came. her name was lemon. she actually gave me one of the best massages that i've had; therapeutic. ripped the shorts while i was on my stomach but nothing playful. she did that to actually massage my leg muscles. on the flip she asked if i wanted a "special massage" for a tip. she also asked for 200 so i figured that's the norm and it became my benchmark. so i went for it. she also dimmed the lights and locked the door. there was some time left over after the massage so we talked for a bit. i felt sorry for her because it seems they work very long shifts and on weekends they just stay home to relax. it was ok for my second mp experience.

It was (or should) have been obvious to anybody, that I was indicating I was imminently about to leave to Dubai and that I therefore wanted some help quickly. That was true. It was not a lie. I didn't realise that ISG forum required such particularity of detail, and that when someone then realised that I was not 100% accurate on timing that some with clearly a lot of time on their hands would descend from above to start giving out warnings and telling me off like a child! It's pathetic. Contrary to your previous assertions, I DID thank those who responded. I'm now in Dubai. I don't tell lies to get information. I was about to travel to Dubai. The only difference was that I used an analogy of the plane being about to leave. That is a term often used when someone is about to make a trip. It does not have to mean that the plane is literally on the runway. To class that as a lie to get information is, with respect, churlish. I'll also repeat the invitation to you. If you wish to meet up with me in Dubai to call me a liar to my face. PM me and I'll be sure to meet you. You are happy enough to bandy words like "liar". In which case don't be a coward. In one you say "almost boarding" that is not 36 hours, in fact you posted that on Saturday then said later you arrive Thursday. Now it is Tuesday so how does "almost boarding"/ "imminent" meet that criteria?

My second MP experience during another trip to Dubai experience was in a MP on Sheikh Zayed Road. My friend and I were staying at a hotel near Financial Metro Station at the time. Our flight arrived at around 9 PM and by the time we reached the hotel it was around 10 and we were kind of tired. But we were bored at night so we took a walk to check out the stores close by. We were walking towards Emirates Towers metro station when a random PRC gives us a card advertising an MP near by. My interest in MPs is now generally high so I thought what the hell, as sketchy as this seems, I want to go check it out so I convinced my friend to come along. It was in a building right across Emirates Towers metro station on one of the floors higher up in the building but I can't remember the name of the building. But the MP shares the same name as a blockbuster movie. The place was dimly lit. The girl at reception looked fili but was probably PRC since all the girls there were. 180 for an hour and I was led to a room with a girl called Cherry; I'd giver her a 6. One of the worst massages I've had. More like a rub. And when she came to my butt, she would massage over the shorts which I found annoying. A plane cannot be both almost boarding (so not yet) and simultaneously passengers are awaiting a Captain's announcement. So clearly intended to give the impression (without giving a flight number! That I was going to Dubai very soon (which was true). Would anyone REALLY post on this forum on a plane minutes before the captain speaks? Seriously? Passengers next to one another "look at that guy on the International Sex Guide". I don't think so. However, Misha, the calm and sensible tone you have adopted (unlike some) does indeed cause one to reflect that a non-native English speaker may well have considered my prose to be something more that I had intended. And trust me. Has I received the sensible type message you have delivered, I would have bee far more gracious in my reply. As it is, I can tell you that I have been genuinely surprised at the very kind comments I have received via PM today concerning this issue and with several very senior members offering all sorts of incredibly useful information and private names and numbers in addition to referring to some of the senior members of this forum in very derogatory terms I shall not repeat here!

So. I bow to your request to reflect and you are of course correct. What I actually wrote was not what I meant as a matter of fact but was a metaphoric statement of "guys I'm leaving for Dubai soon and I need some help before I go please". Which is a shame as decent people (e. G Hard John) are trying to post their experiences. Which of course, in addition to the requesting and provision of information is what the forum should REALLY be about!! So, in the spirit of trying to bring about some calm, I'll make the following responses (also for the benefit of Cons68 who suggested I wouldn't reply):

1. I had RTFF for ages. I had decided, based on the very helpful information provided by several members, to go to Jules. Sorted. I had not factored in Ramadan. A post shortly after the commencement of Ramadan confirmed that the LM website contained a notice that Jules was closed. It caused me to need a real rethink given what I wanted to do. After RTFF for alternative information it was clear to me that I couldn't be sure of which establishments did or did not operate during Ramadan. So in that respect, RTFF didn't help much. I therefore asked for help, and got virtually none.

2. As I was intending to fly in the very near future, I posted a last attempt to ask for Ramadan specific information. There was some information on hotels still green during Ramadan. But little on venues for picking up girls.

3. My post was clearly not serious in terms of the plane being about to leave. Read it again. I say that the "plane is almost boarding". That normally means that people have not yet started to board. I then go on to say "before the Captain announces phones off etc. " One can only hear such an announcement when on board. Not when "almost boarding". So it was clear that I was using metaphoric terminology, which really amounted to "guys I'm shortly leaving for Dubai, so I need some help now please". It doesn't matter if a plane was boarding, almost boarding, or captains were or were not speaking (and it's the crew not the captains who make such announcements. Another clear indication of the merely analogous nature of my post). What matters was the request for help. One member of this entire forum alone (at that point) JoeKarnavic responded. I am very grateful to him. And I thanked him publicly. Which is the correct and respectful thing to do. It is interesting that unlike some senior members who appear to be affronted by my request for swift help, Joe has not complained.

4. I then get accused of obtaining information by deceit and lying. Both allegation are false and defamatory. Misha has posted this evening about my need to reflect on my words. Misha's post was sensible and balanced. I have responded in like fashion.

5. I have re-read my words. I accept, as Misha suggests, that to a non-native English speaking member of the forum it is possible that my words were capable of being taken literally. In which case, and for the avoidance of any doubt (though I cannot quite believe such has caused such offence! JoeK. Despite the fact that you appear not to have been offended and you have not said you felt deceived, IF you felt duped into providing me with a quick response. Then to you, and only you, I apologise if I gave the wrong impression. I also repeat my thanks for the kind information you provided.

6. I am also grateful for the kind comments PM'd to me today by other members of this forum on this topic, also providing some incredibly valuable information. You know who you are and I shall not cause trouble for anybody by revealing your identity when you have PM'd me. And I shall not repeat the comments directed a senior members here as it will inflame matters further. Save that I was intrigued to see the degree of support shown against them.

7. What should NOT have happened, whether people think my words were open to interpretation or not (or mathematical analysis. Which was laughable! Was to be accused of deceit and lying. Both by Snow, and by Wicked Roger. Such allegations are very dangerous and care should be taken by anyone before writing such words. A lie is a deliberate act. It requires intent. A bit like deciding to have sexual relations with a woman via ISG if you are married. Now THAT is deceit and no doubt involves the telling of lies. And I'm sure not one single forum member is ever guilty of either. Right? My words were never meant to be literally interpreted in terms of hours. You are correct WR. I did say Thursday when I meant Tuesday. I'm actually now in Dubai. So when I posted that the plane was almost boarding. I didn't mean it literally, I meant that I was leaving for Dubai shortly and needed some guidance on Ramadan / venues. Not a crime. Not deceit. Not a lie. True. I WAS leaving shortly for Dubai. I did need help. Sorry if the maths don't stack up! It doesn't make the meaning of the words a lie. But I'm literally stupefied to learn that senior members in this forum jump on something so petty to make serious accusations, and suggest that I have now destroyed the chance of anyone ever being provided with "emergency" (LOL) information.

Anyway, I'd like to confirm, for the avoidance of any doubt, and for total mathematical clarity. That my flight was not delayed, I was on time, the plane boarded correctly, (almost! The Captain did not make any announcement about phones as Emirates now allows them inflight, no passenger caught me posting on ISG whilst on board. I didn't deceitfully cover my laptop to prevent anyone seeing these incredibly insane communications (I have enjoyed Dubai so far. I'm more likely to enjoy the next few days more because of the terrific help I've had from some senior members of this forum who have PM'd me with some great information. Which I shall follow up on. That's not a lie (in case anyone wondered). The senior members who have jumped upon the specificity of my words, and referred to them as lies, have secured an amazing concession from me. I've apologised here publicly to JoeK. He didn't complain, he didn't rant, he didn't accuse me of lying or being deceitful. But nonetheless, just in case he did feel at all misled by my specific words, to heed the sensible comments of Misha. I'm sorry Joe. Well done Snow and WR. Hope you can sleep easy knowing that you've managed through the publication of defamatory allegations and mathematical analysis (which incidentally is wrong as Saturday to Tuesday isn't 96 hours. But amazing you bothered to even work it out WR! To secure Joe an apology he never asked for.

But for the sensible words of Misha, I rather suspect I'd have continued with this. Not least at the only way I ever got any help on this forum was via PM's (and Joe of course) when this blew up. Anyway, there we have it. I've clearly learned a valuable lesson in the need, on a forum like this, to limit my words not to anything which could be mathematically challenged. I've also learned that I really must spend a lot of hours RTFF to find out what "manager class" means, as some members have posted FR's on it stretching back years. Oh the joy! Guy's I've enjoyed the banter. Not the defamatory allegations. I seriously hope that the forum can now return to its true purpose instead of people being bored with this thread of nonsense. However, I will leave this message for anyone looking at this forum in the hope of asking fellow members in this part of the world for help. DON'T! It's not worth it, you get lambasted for next to nothing but there are one or two decent members of this forum who will help and if you want their details, please PM me and I'll point you in their direction and away from those who appear to have all the time in the world to get embroiled in playing Lord and Master.

BTW. My plane is almost boarding from Dubai. Now what does that ACTUALLY mean? Today? 36 hours? 96 hours? Does it matter at all? NO it doesn't.
