I was looking for a FL yesterday evening on Beach Road and for a change I started in the vicinity of Soi 6 and walked in the direction of Walking Street. Normally I don't go further north than Central Festival because the numbers get thinner there but I wanted to see some new faces.
But I didn't see many. There was a lot of police and apparently they had 'cleaned up' the area up to approximately Central Festival. I don't know if they went further south than that as that is where most FL's are hanging out after all.

" Have to go up to the one you like. And Friday night, Pattayas finest, cleaned up Beach road, near the entrance to WS. They were leaving with a Baht bus full of SW's, with moto cop escort as I was walking through the area.
