Tuesday night 2 wingmen wanted to go to Tijuana. At the last minute a Tijuana old timer also wanted to go, even though he just had an epidural injection in the afternoon and was in pain. He knew my sports car is small and cramped with 4 guys, but still wanted to join up. Looks like the pleasures with hot, young Tijuana girls are well worth the long ride in a cramped car hehe. His prime motivation was all 3 of them are USC alumni and can really talk USC.

We had a good time in HK and Adelita. The new wingmen enjoyed checking out, talking to and negotiating with girls. One wanted to go again the next night. He spent lots of time and money for escorts and Asian massages in Socal, but much prefers the Caucasian looks and feels, found many perfect matches to his taste among the pretty, light-skinned spinners in HK and would never go to Thailand for girls. So we all have our different tastes, experiences, latent desires, deep primal motivations that drive our preferences. We just have to learn to respect each others' tastes.

The Tijuana old timer is a highly educated professional who has been going to Tijuana since the 70's in his high school years and know most bars and hotel owners in La Zona. He also lived in Brazil and Argentina, during some of the worst years of currency crisis, which caused food shortages and famine for the whole country, similar to the current situation in Venezuela. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese, knows lots of people in La Zona on personal terms, has lots of latest news, intelligence and insights into life in La Zona, Mexico and the Latin countries, but has not been posting in ISG for years, as he does not want to mix with rude, ignorant, uneducated guys with extreme opinions, who think they know it all and unjustly attack other posters.

We are missing out on lots of good insights from good people. So the bros should know the crude, ignorant, uneducated guys to ignore to avoid problems.

On Tuesday, I saw a group of a couple hundred people, mostly men, walking west on Calle 2 da, near 5 Esquinas which is on the way to Soler. There were 4-5 police cars keeping an eye on them. I assumed, along with the locals, that these were migrants from the caravan.

US Commander-in-chief, Donald J Trump, has graciously let Mexico's President-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado have full authority over the illegal Centeral American migrants in the caravan, to house, feed, school, heal, police and prosecute them as much as he wants.

Never say Mr. Donald J Trump is not a generous guy.

On Tuesday, I saw a group of a couple hundred people, mostly men, walking west on Calle 2 the, near 5 Esquinas which is on the way to Soler. There were 4-5 police cars keeping an eye on them. I assumed, along with the locals, that these were migrants from the caravan.

No where did I dispute any reports by credible media outlets. The only thing I dispute is pointless speculation about "thousands of migrants imminently taking over Tijuana, and bringing the San Ysidro crossing to the grinding halt". None of it has happened thus far. These speculations are largely based on fear mongering, and the whole issue getting endlessly blown out of proportion for political reasons.

If you want "facts on the ground" on border crossing. There is a simple solution. Download "CBT Border Wait Time" app on your smartphone and check the San Ysidro border crossing times. The times are updated every 60 minutes. The pedestrian crossing time is under 10 minutes, as I type this.

And that is saying nothing of the videos and social media accounts showing us what is going on.

That said, I do believe this is an important issue that we all remain aware of. The reports and evidence of the activity going on is unnerving. No one yet knows what this will mean for border crossing, if anything. (Side note to Cytek; I have that app and found it to be only marginally accurate.).

But border crossing is only part of the equation. There have been two nights of violence in playas. That was with a few hundred migrants in Tijuana for less than 48 hours. If thousands come, with nowhere to go, where they aren't welcome, for who knows how long, we'd be fools to ignore the potential issue that is developing.

Want to move to San diego from La. Also thinking about moving to Tijuana in few yrs possibly and moving to San Diego would be cool stepping stone. Also I do want to get closer to the Tijuana cause of fun culture and food. Tacos in United States suck ass compared to Tijuana LOL.

Top 2 Things I will really need to do to make this move or I can do 1 and figure out the other after. Better if I can find job income first though LOL.

1. Find a Housing spot or room for rent in San Diego.

2. Finding a job source of income in San Diego. * I currently work doing computer clerical cubical and phone type work for health insurance company but my work role changed recently which is motivating me more to move to San Diego for new job and money making opportunities. I have a Bachelors degree but degrees don't guarantee you* anything as of course we have a trillion dollar student loan problem in United States.

3. My plans so far is to apply for jobs online and search for Housing online using craigslist mainly.

Watched the Facebook video. These cops are being told to stand down. Anybody with a Military or LEO background can attest to this. Any projectile is a form of aggression that is to be met with overwhelming force to overcome an existing threat. This incident tells me two things about Tijuana's finest. 1 they are not prepared to handle riot or crowd control. A basic law enforcement 101 class. Two they are being told to stand down in order to invite chaos into the city. If all police resources are being dedicated to controlling the migrants than who is in charge of providing police functions to the citizenry? Let's hope this is an isolated incident but my gut tells me that things are going to start to unravel quickly because Tijuana just does not have the experience, training, or resources to handle this amount of people. Say what you will about Trump but there is a reason behind him taking the measures he did. We can see first hand the results of what being unprepared looks like.

The problem is that occurred with a small fraction of the people that will be there in the next few weeks. It feels like the tip of the iceberg. Add to that there is no solution for these people. As evidenced by video and commentary, these migrants are not welcome there. They are not going to be allowed into the US en masse. So a month in, what happens when these people cannot eat, have no shelter, have no income? At some point, desperation will set in. But that was the gameplan all along by the organizers and lawyers. But the question is what will happen to security of the zona and Tijuana when the bulk of the caravan arrives.

Which is why migrants are complaining about being unwelcome? I have honestly heard from 2 Mexican friends in Tijuana, separately, that 'maybe Trump was right' and 'now I understand Trump.'

Personally, I think we talk too much about the politics of this on the board. And I'll readily admit to contributing to that. We all have our opinions and we're unlikely to change anyone's mind here. What does tick me off though are inaccurate reports and unfounded speculation. I do appreciate the reports that are coming through various sources saying, to this point, there has been no impact at the border. That is the kind of information that contributes to the value of this board. Not slamming Trump (& I am not a huge fan), FoxNews or any other outlet that doesn't report with the preferred bias.

We'd be best served sticking to facts and actual reports. Just my opinion. I respect others' opinions as well, if they are not dishonest. Forgive my soap box.
