First off, why does this board drift into the nonpro, regular girl talk so frequently unlike the Costa Rica, Dominican, Brazil boards etc etc? As someone who spends extended time in Medellin this whole topic is laughable and the approaches to these girls equally as laughable. There are plenty of young guys in Medellin meeting nonpro girls and on average they are doing far worse than their monger counterparts. This is not even close. I find most of these guys are disconnected, having no idea what is going on with their dates. Many of these guys are confused with many not even getting laid. Organized guys like Archimedes are the exception, not the rule. Also guys that are open to prostitution speed up their learning curve to the women much faster than the snails who are not open to the idea.

A little background regarding myself. I am 40 but look a little younger. I am in good shape, better than average looking, and have passable Spanish. I have never spent less than $1200 / month on an apartment in Medellin so cheap I am not. Before Medellin I lived in The Presidente Hotel in Costa Rica three months per year at $2,000/ mo. I have the money, looks, etc. What am I missing here?

Am I wasting my youth doing hookers and not hooking up with regular girls? I have gone on dates with regular nonpro girls. I have also received nonpro and newer semipro referrals from other working girls and this has been my most effective route of meeting girls in Medellin. On the nonpro side I have 2 negatives to report. First, nonpro girls are selfish and boring. Second, nonpro girls are not as good in bed as girls who have a touch of experience. The sweetness is nice with the light touching and all but this is about the only advantage. My best experiences have been with the newer semipros who are not overly involved with the computer. I have also had luck with the flaky pros who can't stay involved with anything for too long. These girls drift between The Mansion, Night time Strip Clubs, El Centro casas, different sponsors or regulars, etc. A girl named Manuela, who maybe some of you know, fits this profile perfectly. I always get balls out horny sex from her and she is not new to the game. She has been around for awhile but I have never received a reduced level of energy or connection due to this.

When looking back upon my greatest experiences in Medellin none of them include dates with regular girls with the exception of my current girlfriend. Some wanted to return to their boyfriends while others didn't want to be. Some of my nonpro referrals were memorable but I could never find the right distance with any of them for a prolonged time. Why are guys dating regular girls when on a short trip? Is this somehow an advanced way of doing things? Or somehow calling them nonpros but then giving them money? Whatever. As my brother Wilt says if they are truly nonpros good luck with the distance. Getting these girls to be my personal I have found challenging. I meet plenty of regular girls with jobs while walking around the city. Most of these girls want boyfriends or to go on regular dates and are not looking for money for sex. What should I do take these girls out on dates? How am I going to get these girls to respect my girlfriend? Is this somehow better than a prepackaged referral from a girl I respect. These referrals show up with good attitudes and ready to have sex. Is it better than driving directly to girls in taxis meeting them through the window? I have done this a bunch in the past. For 40 k to 60 k I have had taxi drivers introduce me to girls in person in the northern barrios through the window of the taxi. Girls normally want 80 k more or less. This is much safer than walking around. If I like the girl I can take her to a short term El Centro hotel or to my apartment. If I don't click with the first girl we can drive to meet another girl. As I have stated before I have never met a girl through the computer. I also do not talk to any girls from Medellin while in The States, with the exception of my girlfriend, and never have in the past either.

During the summer I met with RiceRocket and I am using my meeting with him to make 2 points. First, while at the UniCentro Mall in Laureles we met three police officers, two women and a man. One of these women had a beautiful face and great personality. The male officer said that this beautiful cop liked my face and personality. This woman would blush when I looked directly at her. Upon leaving I shook the two officers hands and gave the beautiful officer a kiss on the cheek and told her she made my day with her innocent, sweet energy. What was I going to do invite her to my apartment to smoke a joint with me? Second, Ricerocket is a good example of an efficient guy learning the ropes. He had his experiences with hookers and regular girls alike. When I meet guys who spend time with both regular girls and hookers almost universally these guys wish they had spent more time with hookers and less time with regular girls. Something to think about for you guys yearning to be with nonpro girls. Maybe Ricerocket can give further perspective on this.

When in Medellin I walk the streets weekly where the best nonpro girls in Medellin are located. These girls are located in the worst 15 blocks in barrios in the north with 100,000 people or more. These girls have been to El Poblado less than many tourists. Their whole life is in their neighborhoods making occasional trips into El Centro. By the way, regular girls hate El Centro and usually are passing through quickly. These sweet girls you see holding their mom's arms for dear life in El Centro are walking casually in their local barrios. Must be nonpro heaven? Well kind of but I don't take advantage. Unlike El Centro, which is safe, the worst areas of the north are dangerous even for local Colombians. I have written before about walking around El Centro stoned and barely paying attention. These walks in the worst areas of the north are far from the casual walks through El Centro. I am very serious with my senses on high alert while paying attention to everything. The voices echoing from the streets of paramilitaries as well as gang members are telling me to keep walking and I listen. My temper switch is off and my sole objective is to survive with the girls being almost invisible. To meet these girls it is better to meet them out of the window of taxis rather than on foot in these areas. This level of sweet, nonpro girls can be found an hour outside of the city without the danger of these bad neighborhoods for those who are interested.

Back to nonpros and some ideas. If you are new to Medellin and have an itch to meet nonpros I suggest meeting up with Colombia Jake. He can take you to the southern corners of Medellin, Sabaneta and Itagui. He can also take you to the northern part of Medellin and southern part of Bello. There are plenty of areas that are relatively safe where regular middle class or poor girls can be met unlike trying to navigate Parque Lleras. Last time I saw Jake he said that very few guys take his "girl tours" while the majority want to see some Pablo Escobar tour or similar. I challenge one of you new guys to take a tour with him and report back. I would love to hear what you think.

The smart do not date the nonpros. The smart use their brains to make the wheels turn around them while barely lifting a finger. Everything can be had in this sexual paradise called Medellin. I ran very lucky this past summer as I called girls for dates less than 4-5 times in 4 months. I received texts from girls at just the perfect rate to schedule them easily. I will always love The Centro casas yet my sex drive is waning. In my final 6 weeks of my previous trip I made about 15 trips into El Centro having sex only about 5 times with 2 different girls. These two girls were perfect for me. Both brand new and from small towns outside the city. One had been in Medellin for less than 2 weeks. These 7-8 type girls who walked in the door of a casa are my type. I can show up at the casa or invite the girl to my apartment while the sex and the connection get better and better. Well at least for a while it does.

My friend Dennis from The Freebird once said "When you get you game to a certain level it becomes too easy and unfair to the girls". He was referencing the working girls. Once you hear and see enough and know how to respond to any and all situations these things become easy. Too many guys are paying money for sex and not driving enough mileage by talking to the girls and making them comfortable. I will play the games with the working girls and be myself with the regular girls. One thing that constantly amazes me is how guys will go to great lengths with regular girls and will give almost nothing with the working girls. Love your post! Just a couple of points; for some, regular girls aren't that much work. Regular girls love sex too, with no strings attached, at least that's my experience. I have friends with benefits in every major city I travel to in Colombia, and have known these girls for years. No strings attached sex. But many cannot manage these types of relationships, so, to each his own.

Regarding the police officer you met? Who knows? I met a girl through a friend who is with the National Police, works in the canine unit. Beautiful morena with the hottest body, and is a sex maniac. Goggle messenger when used on a laptop shows the name of the barrio in Medellin the call originates from, I do not see this feature when using my tablet. A chica told me she lived in Bello, one of her first questions was will you pay my taxi. She seemed disappointed that I lived in el centro not el poblado. Her call origination point was Manrique, about a 7 k taxi ride from el centro.

I am like you. I have a few relationships w nonpros in the US. , and am not interested in nonpros in Colombia. That was an interesting walk in the park. I think I grokked much of it and agree with one of your fundamentals: the right mix of pros and non-pros makes for good times in Medellin. Of course, as others have noted, there is a fuzzy line between pro and non-pro.

I want to make the case for the older non-pro. In my case, "older" means 35+. I am 50's but look 40's. If you are age 30, then older maybe means 25+.

I find that some of the girls over 35 in Medellin are quite attractive -- and all are severely underutilized. The Colombian men, and many of the foreigners, ignore them. Yet they have their advantages: jobs, cars, apartments and, most of all, a severe desire to be ridden to the ground multiple times a day. Look for the girl who in her prime was a 9 or 10. Now she may have slipped to 7 or 8, but if you can find her, she may be worth the trouble.

My current non-pro favorita is 40 (looks early 30's). She has a beautiful face, decent body, job / car / apartment, and isn't interested in my money or a visa to another country. I buy dinner most of the time and she buys occasionally, too. She invites me to her apartment and proceeds to treat me like a king. Last time she gave me a shirt as a gift. Then proceeded to do me four times before driving me back to my apartment the next afternoon.

BTW, I met this woman on Tinder (VJ, I need some tips on meeting girls in malls etc.).

The girls we snagged were about as high quality as Parque Lleras offers. They were not aggressive when it came to the payment issue and the price did not even come into play until we had partied for two hours or so on our cheap rum and party favors.

As far as knowing they were off duty or semi-pro, it didn't really matter. However, having spent significant time around real pros, it was clear they were not hardened pros. Like someone else said, any of the girls are available for a price (any single girls you find walking around after 10 pm in Parque Lleras). However, the game is important for having a good time by establishing a connection and not having to fork over big bucks to do so.

I understand how many are offended by the "old fart" comment, that is understandable. I also find it interesting that so many people on this forum find the time to be offended but not write actual reports of their own when they live in MDE.

I have traveled to LOS, Cambodia, Philippines, Panama And Colombia.

I stay for months at a time and never did I go looking for non pros. If I meet a pro I like, I keep her around longer. My whole point of traveling is to get away from the dating game.

The idea of of spending money on planes and hotels to go to a place to date. The definition of dating is spending money on a maybe. It doesn't matter what country you are playing the game.

If one is spending a month or more at a time in MDE, going after non-pros makes sense. And in fact, a decent-looking guy with time on the ground and Spanish ability will have more women than he knows what to do with.

OTOH, for the short-term visitor, going after non-pros is generally a waste of his precious vacation time. I've done it a few times just to mix things up. But in general, if I'm there for a week or so, I want to make efficient use of my time. I can go after non-pros all I want at home in the States.
