I'm not qualified to hand out advice but I say this in that manner. If they are true, I think it's a wise decision to stay away from Tijuana. You don't seem to have any positive experiences. Months ago, it was the many safety concerns. Now the chicas mistreat you? US girls are cheaper?

Seriously, I think you need to re-evaluate your approach. Again, I'm not trying to be an ass. Your experiences seem to be unique to you. The very fact you say it happened at HK, Chicago, Adelitas. There is only one common denominator in those situations. And it's not the girl, location or bar. None of us can say what is it that others find so off-putting. But if that happened to me, I would try to figure out what I'm doing wrong. If I don't feel like I've done anything wrong, and there are greener pastures elsewhere, I'd ask myself why I still bother with Tijuana and the Tijuana message boards.

People look towards these post to make decisions base on facts from mostly "boots on the ground" accounts. It does not serve the readers of this forum to obtain bogus information from fantasized made up events and fear mongering. It creates a distraction from the truth and plays into deception. I hope that others will be able to decipher fact from fiction.

I keep looking at that site for live camera feeds of traffic returning. 8 AM Saturday there were 4 SENTRI, 8 READY and 4 REGULAR lanes car lanes open as normal, but traffic is moving very slowly, backing up way into downtown Tijuana. I estimate the delay may be 6 to 8 hours for regular lanes and 2 hours for SENTRI at 8 AM Saturday. Looks like CBP is checking every car more carefully. The agents were checking car trunks for hidden migrants.

This is a very bad situation for people in San Diego and Tijuana who have to cross the border for work, study, business, health ect. The illegal migrants from Central America are almost all uneducated, untrained, ungrateful, irresponsible, shameless bottom feeders in their own countries, who are now blaming the US for their own political, security and economic problems, but insisting on entering the US and passing on their problems to the US. Once they enter the US, most would join the violent Central American gangs and do violent crimes to enrich themselves. These stupid, lawless people are brazenly abusing the laws and the generosity, compassion of the people of Mexico and the US. I suspect Mexicans will soon run out of resources and patience and will unwelcome these migrants.

Mexico should punish these migrants severely for entering her country illegally and deport them back to where they came from to deal with their own problems. The US should stop letting asylum applicants into her soil where they would just disappear into ganglands and cannot be found for deportation. The US should never allowed lawless migrants but only the best, brightest, moral and truly persecuted individuals into her country.

Check, for example, Chula Vista is a cheaper, more working class city and you are between San Diego and Tijuana. Find some work and apartment and later, after a few months, search for job and apartment you like in San Diego. If you like tacos then check out "Tacos El Gordo" 556 Broadway at Chula Vista very famous place. - Living in Mexico, my Mexican girlfriend advises: Rosarito is better than Tijuana for US citizens.
