I understand people have good disposable income and less time to waste in bargaining but the same service that we get in MP in Pune costs way less in Mumbai, though there are some jewels in indie who are reasonable but effectively most of them have realized that increasing the rate works. I guess it has to do with market economics and fresh inflow of new earning customers specially IT is pushing rates up.

But if majority of us do not relent to the SP they do bring the rates down the foreigner who they start at 9 k within 15 minutes comes down to 6 k just needs patience and trying out multiple sources so needs time.

I thought of sharing this hilarious true story of 2 of my friends (one of whom is a cop).
