Having just arrived from the U. K and asking for information from my business partner And Aey, whilst still in London, regarding the floods I was told by them there was nothing to worry about. This was in stark contrast to all the media reports and Coverage back home, who would have the uninformed, believe the city was catastrophically crippled and anyone traveling there was entering the realms of certain death. Having been in the general sex tourist areas for 1 week there are undoubted shortcomings like the lack of supplies in some of the shops but let's be realistic, people have lost their lives, their livelihoods and had devastating affects to their properties. Does the inability to buy some non essential supplies even warrant a mention under the current circumstances? The only truly accurate reports I could find not only on this forum but on many others were posted by Giotto and I want to thank him for taking the time to do so. If he has a marginal vested interested I am really not concerned, it had no affect on the accuracy of the information. More positive and informative post's like these are very welcome to both new members and long time server alike.

Live Sukhumvit view point:

Being currently in Soi 7/1 and walked to both ends of Sukhumvit I cannot say I have witnessed any damaging effects of the floods which have devastated some outlying parts of the city.

What this forum is about:

I took a girl from sharks bar in Soi cowboy last Thursday and was blown away by her attentiveness and enthusiasm, I would not hesitate to recommend her (butterfly on left breast and a hostess not a dancer) I am terrible with Thai names and Sharks in general.

- water coming out of some drains in Lad Krabang, north of the airport. It always started like this in other areas.

- more and more complaints about the tap water quality even in the Sukhumvit area.

- again shortage of bottled water in shops, a problem that eased in the last few days, now popping up again.

It's NOT over yet.

She's not very young. However, as far as spas go, she is inexperienced. As for go gos, she said she doesn't like to dance on stage so she never did that. Before, it seems her boyfriend payed for her expenses. They split up recently, which led her to seek the job in the massage parlour.

I was in Bangkok only for a few days and told her so (I'm an honest guy).

If you ask me, the fact that since recently she currently has no boyfriend is likely to mean that she is looking for a new one. However, as I had told her I'm in Bangkok only for a few days, I am not sure whether she would have contemplated me as a potential candidate? Realistically, we would have been able to meet only one more time before my departure. But she did emphasize several times that I must come back to the parlour to see her again on my last day. sometimes i also hand over a few thousand baht and tell her it's for her taxi ride home.

if she's mentioned things like the water buffalo is sick, or she wants to buy the latest new phone all her friends are getting, then i can use that as the reason.

ER is on the wrong, Grace hotel type, side of sukhumvit. NH is on the David Carradine, Angelina Jolie side of the road.

Walk out of ER to street vendors and wannabe fake females. Walk out of NH and it's almost 100% the first lady you'll see is a lady.

NH has a disco, travel agency and restaurant that even delivers to your room, etc. What does ER advertize, tailor service?

NH has given me outstanding service over years, so why would I want to change to what you suggest.

They just like you to come back so they can show off to their friends. She didn't mean for you to come for services, just come to say hello in front of her coworkers.

Forget all the bullshit of guys saying,"Well they expect it, but they are too shy to ask." Maybe the guys who are too _____ (fill in with whatever word) to get a freebie think that way. Where I am from a closed mouth doesn't get fed. So if she is expecting money then she better make it plain in the beginning.

A couple of cases:

Last month I had a girl over who I was in the process of making a regular. The first time she was P4P. The next time we got together I must have picked her up about 8pm.
