The girls will still want more. Buy them a camera, phone or mp3 player, they will pawn it and tell you it got stolen so you will give them another. They are just pretty versions of our trailer-park-ghetto girls. They are always looking over your shoulder for a better meal ticket, and if one comes along they will dump you in a NY minute.

Hehe, once a girl in AC asked me to bring her a digital camera, it was last year October or November. She wanted to take pictures at home during Christmas and NYE before she comes back to AC. I had a small Kodak camera, 7MP or so.
Since I'm used to DSLR-pics I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the pics and I wanted to get rid of it already earlier. Suggested the girl, just take this one here, take your pics on Christmas and give it back to me afterwards.

So, she's back in AC as I will be next month also. Honestly, I don't want the camera back, I don't think I'll get the camera back, just want to hear which story pops up.

Been catching up on my reading here, this question was asked a while ago, so apologies for the delay in responding. Mixed Asian/Black does not make a gorgeous combination for me I will admit, but I am a firm believer in the [i]to each their own[/i] philosophy :) . Havent been to AC in a little while, but last time I was there I recall there being at least 2 of these types of girls in Neros, but really not particularly attractive and a little too large for my liking. Regular visitors to that bar will surely know the girls I am referring to. There was also a girl at Dollhouse before who was one of the superstar dancers there who I am pretty sure was half black, she was quite tall and very skinny, she may even have been Miss Dollhouse or something. She was quite hot, although I found out later much to my surprise that she was a cherry girl!

Well, based on your explanation I think you will be disappointed in the clubbing scene in the Phils. Looks to me like you are looking for a grind club with easy hook-ups. Sorry man, the Phils, is probably not for you. Remember that the country is 90% Roman Catholic, and still fairly conservative. There are clubs in Manila and Cebu that probably pass for the PI version of what you are looking for, but again, based on your comparisions, I think you will be disappointed. IMHO, and of course as always, others may have other ideas.

There are plenty of filipinas with African-American fathers. Also, Japanese, etc. Don't be shy. Ask around and make your preference known. Then sit in one spot and the girls will magically appear.

[/QUOTE] X, I know it was a joke, no hard feelings man. There are not nearly not as many postings on this thread as opposed to Thailand and I think it's a good thing.

Based on everything we've read Manila has a great nightlife, "beautiful people", so we'll give it a shot. It's all about having a good time.

If you ruled out HRCafe (live band), I still don't know what you are looking for.

Two places I've heard about but never been to.
Nirvana Disco on on Taft (Malate?).
Entertainment complex at "the fort" which I believe has a disco and is in Makati.

There are some minor clubs in the area of Malate Church / Remidios Circle -- mostly Filipino crowd. The Hobbit is an unusual dinner club with live music. There is a Havana Restaurant here just as there is in Greenbelt mall in Makati, but it isn't the pickup place that Makati Havana is.

Cebu has Sunflower disco (live band) and the newly opened disco called Paseo. That's where I was last month and that's where I'll be in March.

Btw, for those heading to Asia consider flying to Hong Kong first as an option. It's $608 from NY with one stop (or $640 on Continental direct), and little bit over $500 if coming from California. There are several bugdet airlines including Cebu Pacific that you can take to Manila or Cebu or BKK very cheap.

It's Prince Of Jaipur--not Cuisine as stated...

Also, there is a place on the 3rd floor called Piedra and another club that opened 2 blocks north of there--I think it's called Ascent.
