I learned that Classic now opens at 2 pm and closes 1130 pm. Most girls arrive by 3 or 5 pm. Most guys come by 9 pm, maybe as early as 6 pm. So my plan is to go at about 4 and hope to hit the sweet spot.

My favorite restaurant, which used to be open more or less 24 hours, now closes by 12 pm. Things are generally open, but the scale is not the same as pre-pandemic. But if you don't have the contact, then those services are the only way to go.

Go check out be Fashion Spa on the 9th floor if you get a chance. It's at the be-Fashion Hotel near taman anggrek mall. About 700 k for an in house masseuse, 1. 1 M for a freelance. Their selection have hot young ladies in both categories, and while I stick pretty exclusively with the in house masseuse, I've seldom been disappointed. I promised myself the next time I go there, I won't cheap out on picking a freelance if she's the hottest in the room.

those prices are without tip, but do include 90 minutes, half in massage and half in making love. I reserve another 100k to 200k for tip after cfs or 300k to 400k for tip after bbfs.

Cucumber. Thanks you for the post. But why did you apply for business visa? Why not just take the tourist visa so there is no big hassle? I am curious, because I am planning to come Jakarta in a few weeks from UK and while I have some work meetings, I will just apply tourist so avoid taxes and the fees.

And please keep us update with your activities. I hope Jakarta will be fun for monger when I arrives.

After entering Bali and passing the required checks anyone is free to travel to other areas.

And I know you don't believe it but yes, there are genuinely nice girls just looking for a good old-fashioned ride with some guy who won't come back and cause them problems later and who are happy enough to engage for free.

In the late evening it is eerily quiet. Most restaurants close at 8 or 9 pm, even those that were previously open 24/7. By 11 pm most of the city is dead. Classic, Malio, and Travel are all operating at ca 40% of regular capacity.

And there are so many chubby girls, not to mention guys. I don't know whether the pandemic exacerbated it, but to me it seems Indonesia is headed for a big wave of obesity.

Sorry about the radio silence. I got busy. I left Jakarta yesterday and now in Singapore. Need to deal with some other stuff but will fill you in on my last days in Jakarta as soon as I can.

I finally found the time to write up the impressions from the last days before I left Jakarta. Unfortunately I am already forgetting stuff, as some nice time with a freebie regular of mine here in Singapore erases other memories.

I know that for some of the old-timers on the forum some of my info is stuff they know very well and that has been discussed on the forum before. But I am writing for everybody.

In the last days I revisited Classic, Travel and Malioboro. Confirmed the impressions I have already provided here on the forum. If you are willing to trawl through some girls, you can find gems at both Classic and Travel. It is also important not to let the mamasans steer you too much. They are pushy, but you take the decisions.

Some girls are willing to meet up in their spare time. They often ask for a lot of money for that, like 2 million for a night, but quickly come down.

Malioboro is a notch up from Classic and Travel. If you go to the club part (further away from the street), enter, go up to the mezzanine overlooking the dancers and stand there a bit, groups of girls will start approaching you, flirting for lady drinks. They are dancers waiting for their turn. Some of them are are e a l l why hot. But they cost something like 3. 2 million.

I also managed to get to the Kota Indah you-shaped alley just off Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta. This is a rough-looking alley where people go out drinking and partying. It looks a bit like a Thai alley, but darker and rougher, with a bunch of relatively small bars a few feet apart: Starmoon, Sari Ayu, New Sari Ayu, Grand LA, MTR. Usually they are packed with happy, drunk, smoking locals. Rowdy but friendly. Layout is a bit like an American diner, but at the back there is an area with perhaps 20 girls, and mamasans handling transactions. Rooms are upstairs. Before the pandemic there were some problems with police raids in this area. The police would go into one of the bars, lock the doors and search everybody for drugs before letting them out. Don't know whether this is a risk now. I went there with a well to do local acquaintance, and he was frightened to go there. Thought it could be dangerous. But he was afraid of the locals, not the police. I still had a great time there. Price is same as Classic and Travel, 400 000 rupiah per hour. However, the rooms and showers are a good bit rougher. At Classic, Travel, Malioboro they are always spotless.

In return, my local acquaintance took me to his kind of place. Further south. Called Zen. No obvious entrance. Go to the back of an office block, up a staircase and suddenly you are in this club. He said much, much better, but more expensive. It was more expensive, but not better. About 40 girls on offer. Three categories: 3 million, 4 million and 5 million, per girl per hour. They were more pale-skinned, wore lots of heavy "Western"-style clothes, makeup caked on their faces, taller, much chunkier (big square hips). Waste of money as far as I am concerned.

One of the girls told me a lot about how things are organized. Classic, Travel, Malio, Kings Cross and Sumo all have the same owner. They live in dorms controlled by the club. 3-4 girls in each room with bunks. 56 girls in one house. I have seen videos of the inside, and they don't look too rough. Many girls come in on a contract, which means they get a loan and then have to work it off. If you pay 375 000 for an hour, the girl gets about 95 000 out of that. So she is living off the tips. Please bear that in mind and be generous. I tip heavily for good performance. Out of 20 girls, I may pay a tip of 1 million to the 1-2 best, 700 000 to a couple of them, 4-500 000 to many of them and 2-300 000 to the weaker performers. 0 tip is only if a girl really creates problems or something. Some people would probably say I overpay, but I don't think they respect the girls. I try to be nice, caring, and generous. I think it's the right thing to do in itself, it also gives some really nice interaction.

The girl also told me she used to make 10 million per month, now it is more like 5 million. There are much fewer customers and much fewer girls, everything is kind of quiet. She is very good with people, so I expect she earns more than many of the others. They have an antigen test every third day. Medical checkups every three months, including HIV test and full gynaecological examination she claimed, but I am not sure. As per ISG rules I am not permitted to write about my own observations concerning venereal diseases, so you are on your own there.

Hope it bounces back soon as you said to pre-pandemic time. My only recourse is to use Seeking or SA to connect with those new freelancers should I visit Jakarta again this year.

Thanks for the great reports Cucumber. I will be in Jakarta in a few weeks and seek the good times. I think I will try my luck on Seeking (SA) as I am a bit of a timid monger and not sure how comfortable I will feel at some of these massage establishments.
