The chances of being mugged while just walking is almost nil especially if you are a tourist. If you do get mugged you must be very unlucky!

When visiting for mongering activities though just take the money for the act and nothing more. Try leaving the expensive stuff somewhere else. As far as hidden cameras go its the same risk as anywhere else. Just look around and purchase the camera detector off ebay if really worried. It is very unlikely to happen though.

Do not worry about navigation too as the case all around the world there is google maps covering the whole of sri lanka. So happy days mate!

PS do not trust tuk tuk as whether you are mugged or not its a definite rip off.

One thing that make me upset when I m in a room with freelancer whether there are any hidden cameras in the room. If someone record and if it goes on line, well can't even imagine the situation. These days even doctors install hidden cameras.

So although we have to take risks, is there any precautions what we can take?

Always be carefull. They could even take from a phone.

1. always try to choose a hotel / guest house rather than go to the one she asks you to come. do the "deed" in your territory than theirs.

2. double check to see if the room door is locked. if there is a key hole, cover it with something. u can use tissue, hanky or your shirt.

3. keep lights on low if possible.

4. make sure she does not use the phone while your with her. specially when you leave the room to take a wash.

5. if possible, glance around to see if you can find any peep holes in the ceiling or walls.

6. draw the curtains after securing the windows close.

7. don't keep using the same place, the girls can get friendly with room boys and cook up something.

these are some of the precautions i take. you can relax these once you know her well. i have had girls who tried to record the session and if you read some recent posts, you will see that, this is common, so be very carefully.

apparently some spa's have camera's for security. but this can be dangerous for us too.

be vigilant, be sensible and act fast if you feel something is fishy!

I did my research already. Just wanted know any security precautions since this time of the year is bit tough for us. Are there any restrictions in JH now or operating as usually?

This is a encounter which happened last Saturday and the place and details was given by the most obliging Acne Lanka.
