Sosua Reports

First, I'm done with Sosua after this trip. Too many other great places to enjoy. I don't know if I was paying as close attention on my last couple trips, but Sosua seems SUPER hardcore now. It is a FEW nice honeys but ther are also A BUNCH of trashy ho's. Damn near everybody wants short time and that means only one hour these days which surely means one pop as quick as possible. One sexy chica that just isn't my type because of her demeanor and approach quoted me 3k for one hour. I f'and laughed in her face! GTFOHWTBS!

Anyway, tis not all gloom and doom. I hit the strip around ten full of hen and had fun flirting and dancing. But this one beatch did manage to pick pocket me. I consider myself to always have my wits about me, but she was good. The shitty part is that I was the least bit interested in her, but danced with her anyway trying to be "nice". Be careful fellas.

I did apply the AH2 approach. It was great success in the end, but I had to freaking work in it. It was rough sitting in Dlatin and Rhumba for over 3 hours scouting. It is soo much harder to find what I'm looking for. At one point the thought creeped in my mind that I just might go to my condo solo my first night back (condo is dope by the way).

I'll jot some stuff down as a get a chance and give a recap of my trip with more detail at some point. I don't know about cutting off all the lights, but this trip is definitely a curtain call for me. I feel lucky to be able to savor some of my prior experiences. Sosua is really a shithole. I completely understand the way a few veteran mongers feels. Of course there is more pussy than you need, but the feel / transacting is terribly. For me anyway. 3000 pesos? Most of these chicks in DR are OK. There not all that. Its mostly trashy hoes with a few gems sprinkled in. For that Price I can get me a smoking hot 10+ Colombian, Costa Rican, in the Hotel Del Rey.

Oh Well I blame the weekend millionaires, These DR chicks Realize they don't have to work hard anymore and they can make more money trying to get as many johns as possible within the night.

Well I'm going to DR in July if its really that bad, It may be my last trip ever. I'm going to Costa Rica and Columbia instead, At least the women are smoking Hot and are worth the extra money, These DR chicks are average at best. No way I'm paying 3000-4000 pesos.

I am not excited just to "get my hands" on a teenage chic. We are just different. It is a matter preference. With all that is good in the land of milk and honey, you KNOW things are not as good overall as it used to be. I've done this dance enough that I've had my fill in this environment. It remains me of Costa Rica. Just straight cash transactions. If I never experienced mongering or on a certain level then of course Sosua would offer a great experience, but in my case Sosua looses its appeal to me with each visit. I admit I do miss the scene when I back home but there are other places to explore.

I feel a lot of cats get played down here because they don't demand more. I refuse to travel all this way for anything less than stellar. It hasn't all been perfect for me, but my great experiences outnumber the bad by a long shot but I put in work to make it happen. A man can't live his life just accepting a situation. We have the choice and the pesos. The power is in our hands. It's unfortunate that not all of us put it to practice. This by no means a shot toward you.

I have much of the same opinion that you do but I will say that Sosua meets a need. It is mongering 101. I have put in enough time learning Spanish and the culture to enjoy the DR. However sometimes I just want to slum. Sosua scratches that itch for me. I typically do both types of mongering. Six months in sex prison I go a bit stare crazy.

I feel somewhat for the many mongers who have become disenchanted with what Sosua has BECOME FOR THEM. It is hard for me to relate to their concerns because I have only been going to Sosua since Oct 2011. (About 10 monger trips now, Although I have been traveling to the DR since 2008.) I do not have their experience of what they used to enjoy from chicas back then. However, when I started coming in 2011, I enjoyed some GFE right off the bat with a chica, and my newbie wingman did as well. Neither of us would hang out on the strip and we definitely never went to Clasicos to meet chicas. Sure we would walk down PC in the early evening out of curiosity. But we hardly ever set up for any considerable length of time at Rumbas, Merengue or anywhere else in order to find our chicas. Chicas were everywhere. In fact, we enjoyed very often just flirting. On occasion we had ST with chicas, but thats what we wanted. Meanwhile we still spent time with other chicas offering the GFE.

I learned very soon that a DR phone can be a useful tool. I used that to connect with many of the women I met in Sosua. Many of the women I met, we did the TLN thing even though we never discussed TLN. It just worked out that way. I paid them what I felt was fair, even though they never told me what they were expecting. These chicas would become my favoritas that I would expect to see on subsequent visits. The only thing I had to do is deflect their RFM attempts if we were texting or calling each other when I was back home. Some got mad because I refused to be tricked into being a WU sucker. When I would see them in Sosua we got together, and I paid only for the pussy I used. I didn't hold their schemes against them, and they didn't hold it against me that I didn't succumb to their stories.

Now about Sosua. Sosua for me has a lot more to offer than simply looking for GFE experience from hookers, or women posing as hookers. I like the town itself. I like going to the Playa, the restaurants, I like shopping in the Supermercado, I like hanging out by the metro bus station and just chica watching. I like meeting guys down there, or especially hanging with a friend or two that scheduled his vacation on the same dates so we can pal around. I like going to the ball field to watch the adults and kids play.

I will rent a car from time to time and take a day trip. So no matter what Sosua has become, I enjoy the hell out of my vacation because I make the best of it despite the shithole Sosua has become for others.

The one thing I take into consideration is this. Most women who come to Sosua are not from Sosua. They come from all over. So the hardcore element is not Sosua, it's the individual women that have become hardcore. What does that mean to me? It means it is up to me to choose the women that fit what I'm looking for. I do not have to choose a hardcore chica. Besides if I want GFE, I don't think it makes sense to find it within an environment that is not conducive for that. This past March paid for a subscription to Dom Cupid again. I wasnt too sure I should do it, but I did it anyway. Found an interesting chica from PP. From day one GFE with this chica. I'm not doing any WU, and don't intend to. We only eat breakfast in Sosua, but I take her everywhere outside of Sosua during the day and night for fun. Has she hooked in Sosua before? Maybe so, but that is not important to me. I'm realistic. I am enjoying my turn when I am there. I have no clue what she does when I'm not there. And since I'm not paying for anything when I'm not there, I'm not concerned.

So while many guys are disgusted with Sosua, Sosua is still a great place to spend my vacation. Here is another way to look at it. I have read enough on these forums where guys proclaim that SD is where big boys monger, and that Sosua is too much point and click. Well since GFE seems to be a valuable commodity, and hard to find for enough guys in Sosua. Maybe Sosua is now the place for the big dogs who know how to get that GFE from chicas within a hardcore environment? A guy can find GFE (wherever) and still enjoy his vacation in Sosua. An old saying my grandmother said works for me in terms of mongering. She said "Stick with those that stick with you". Well if you are monger who is more prone to scoring numbers, you are going to miss or neglect those opportunities where GFE or less hardcore chicas may be staring you right in the face. ST hustlers arent looking to stick with you, they are looking to stick it to you. Who takes time to feel chicas out anymore? Seems like many guys are escorting chicas back to their spots too soon. After only a few minutes of negotiation. Probably arent really enjoying each other. Everything is more expense now. Food, clothes, rent, taking care of children etc. Well WTH do some guys expect from these chicas in 2013? 2006 prices & GFE?

In Sosua. I also like getting hour long massages for only 600 pesos. I like getting pedi & manicures for only 400 to 600 pesos. I like the idea I can go to a dentist in Sosua and pay 800 pesos to have my teeth cleaned.

I agree 100. You have to be in charge of your good time. I love GFE and work to cultivate it. If I find a good ST chica I get her number and build a repore presto in no time we have GFE. The things that you point out are why you can have a great time in Sosua. I can roll in SD but for having big fun Sosua trumps it big time. Plus the cost of Sosua is better for everything. I get my hair cut manicure and pedicure at the same spot. If the chica enjoy the time with you they want to come back. I make being with me fun for them whether in SD or Sosua. I have found fresher chica in Sosua then SD. I use cupid as well. And its ok, that can be fun for a bit but its not usually GFE, so in my opinion its not as memorable and less rapport is developed. The problem becomes that its a small place and everyone knows your business and get jealous and territorial. That's when the problems start, so its hard to have hardcore for ST and then the GFE all in the same place. I don't have an answer other than to say that you either have one or the other or have them at separate places or at separate times. Hardcore in town and GFE out of town, or two separate trips but its just too small a community and everyone knows everyone else. Just my two cents with dealing with cupid girls, street girls and the harder to find, diamond in the rough non-pro.

I can admit when I'm wrong, so let me say that I made a rush to judgement. The strip was fantastic last night. Numbers seem down a little, but it was some great lookers last night. Dlatins was so packed it became suffocating. So much so that I walked across the street with another cool dude I met and we drank at El toro and watched the show from there.

LOL[/QUOTE]I tend to believe many guys are making judgements over a short time span or based on a recent vacation rather than over a lengthly time frame, like 12 months. Timing is everything. Including taking into consideration the women who may decide to stay home because it's their time of the month. Whereas another 100 chicas have just come off their periods and are expected to be in Sosua to make some money. Guys have to consider the impact of holidays, the weather, family obligations, anything that might impact on the numbers and the quality in Sosua at any given time.
