Or just a gut feeling?
Or is it based on what you are seeing in the early and mail-in voting where actual votes in this non Trump's Pandemic year might reasonably replace polls as an indicator for who is really ahead at this moment in time?

Police in the 2024 battleground state of Pennsylvania are investigating some 2,500 voter registration forms that were submitted in two massive batches -- and investigators say that 60% of the forms they've checked so far are fraudulent. All of the ballots were submitted in Lancaster County, but two other counties are scrutinizing similarly suspect batches. While officials say it's the work of a "large-scale canvassing operation," they're not yet saying who's behind it.
The roughly 2,500 applications landed at or near Pennsylvania's Oct 21 registration deadline; some observers are speculating that the timing may have been tactical, with the intent of exploiting time-pressure administrators would be under ahead of the Nov. 5 Election Day. However, as they examined the massive heap of forms, application processors were immediately alarmed by what they saw:
Multiple applications with the same handwriting and signatures.
Many forms filled out on the same day.
Applications for previously-registered voters whose signatures on the forms did not match the ones on file.
The big question is who and how much were they paid?

https://modernity.news/2024/10/26/kamala-rally-descends-into-complete-chaos-as-beyonce-doesnt-perform/
The Kamala Harris rally in Houston last night was billed as a Beyonc concert. Everyone, including the media, believed the singer would perform after the announcement was made earlier in the week, but all she did was walk out and make a barely audible speech for a few minutes. Then the rally descended into complete chaos.
Secondly, 30,000 people showed up and waited in line because they believed it was a Beyonc concert.
A million people tried to get tickets because they thought it was a Beyoncé concert.
The rally then descended into absolute chaos as some people left, while others kicked up a fuss about Beyonce not singing.
The media spun this as Trump supporters 'protesting', and Harris repeated a line about showing them the way to the "smaller rally down the road," referring to Trump's event.
But the fact is, they weren't Trump supporters, they were just pissed off that they'd been misled.
Perhaps the most hilarious aspect of this was that the performance they actually got was 91 year old Willie Nelson.
And it is the second time Democrats have pulled the Beyonce bait and switch.
End of link.
Yeah, using the same line as before is so Kamala. Hell, you just need to pull her string in her back.
And there is more video of the clusterfuck: https://twitter.com/CollinRugg/status/1850239559730401742.
And the Democratic douches are bragging about this? LOL. A Kamala rally where chants of Donald Trump broke out?
Why does Trump not need pop stars to draw a crowd? Oh right, he is entertaining, the star of the show. Kamala just memorizes lines or reads them off a teleprompter. With her, you get the same speech time after time. Just pull that string.
I read the other day it may have been Nate Cohen or Silver that wrote Trump isn't being undercounted in the polls any more, people are more than proud to tell pollsters they are voting for him.
But he highly suspects Harris is being overcounted, because many Democrats are telling pollsters they will vote for her, but come election day he fears they will not follow thru for obvious reasons LMAO.
That isn't how the probable recent over-counting of Trump works. If you read the link in my previous post about it, what pollsters have been doing over the past couple of years is actively over sampling likely Trump voters in rural areas. That is what is meant by putting "more red M&Ms in the jar".
They aren't looking for people who are shy about supporting Trump and adding more of those "Red M&Ms" to the jar. No, they are looking for the proudest dumb Repub hillbillies they can find to add more of them in their polls on the natural assumption they are Trump supporters.
Whether or not those poor, beleaguered pollsters have to endure endless asides from their phoned respondents about imaginary Haitians eating Fido and Mittens when Fido and Mittens are probably just in the basement shitting in Elmer's boots as conclusive proof that they really, really are Trump supporters is beside the point.
You see the problem with what you Democratic do all the time is you accuse others of what you yourself are doing. The biggest example of a fascist one party state is California. A Republican has no chance at being a USA senator or governor in California. The game plan in California was we will let in all these illegal aliens. We will forbid anyone from checking their citizenship and allow them to vote after we throw gobs of money on them.
Half of Biden's strategy for re-election was opening up the borders and have illegals vote for him, and the other half was the stupid lawfare campaign. That is as fascist as it gets!
According to google / wikipedia, fascists often advocate for a dirigiste economy (a market economy in which the state plays a strong directive role through economic interventionist policies). So the government is going to tell Trump's hotel managers how to run a hotel and all this golf courses? LOL. That is what you are worried about with Trump? You have to be kidding me!
Do you know the definition of fascism? The fact that no Republican has a chance of being a senator or governor of California is not proof that California is fascist; it's just that the citizens of California the policies espoused by the Democrats. The defining characteristics of fascism is not "a dirigiste economy," but rather "a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. " This is the first paragraph of the wikipedia page on fascism; please do not cherry pick words out of that page to justify your prejudices.
And your accusation of lawfare as proof of fascism is quite odd. When Trump lost the election in 2020, he filed a bunch of lawsuits claiming electoral fraud. Does that not count as lawfare? Does that make him a fascist?
As for claim that illegals are voting in California, you have any real proof that will hold up in a court of law?
Finally, I would like to point out that you dodged that question: are you okay with Trump being a fascist? If you think that the Democrats, being fascists, are evil; then Trump is evil for being a fascist. Will you condemn him for being a fascist?
She deserves to know!

The big question is who and how much were they paid?
From your link:
Florida State University election law expert Michael Morley told the Inquirer that canvassing operations that center on per-application payments and quotas incentivize bogus registrations. However, he says it's rare for those registrations to culminate in fraudulent votes. "Even if it gets through, thats sort of the end of the line. Its not part of a bigger picture plot to steal the election, he said.
Yeah, that kind of rogue transgression where somebody is paid for each registration he procures and so bogus "registration" forms are submitted rarely if ever culminate in even 1 "bogus" registration even getting a ballot in the mail, much less finding its way into the vote count.
On the other hand, PAYING or REWARDING people for registering or voting is clearly illegal for the person offering the payment or reward and possibly for the person accepting it. And doing that is dangerous slippery slope even the Party who the criminal perpetrator is paying people to register and vote for are justifiably concerned about it:
"Federal law is clear. He can't pay someone to vote or to register to vote. That is prohibited by 18 USC 597 and 52 USC 10307. Instead, Musk is paying people to sign a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments if the person is registered to vote in a swing state. He is also giving away $1 million a day until the election," Rahmani said.
Rahmani, the president of the West Coast Trial Lawyers law firm in California, said that Musk may have gone too far.
Signing a petition is free speech that is protected by the First Amendment. Paying someone to sign a petition isn't necessarily illegal unless the payment isn't really to sign the petition but is rather a bribe to vote or register to vote. A direct payment, $47, or a lottery chance, $1 million daily giveaway, would both be considered bribes if they were for the purpose voting or registering to vote," he said.

My god. Where to begin?
1. If Trump and ChristoFascist Mike did not want open borders, why did they shut down so much as a first vote on the very conservative bi-partisan Immigration Reform bill spearheaded by one of their own most conservative Repubs from a very conservative Repub state?
2. Elon Musk was an illegal alien. But aside from that, where have you seen or heard Dem leadership proposing a law or wish or dream that illegal immigrants like Elon Musk was should be allowed to vote?
3. The 6 MAGA Repub loons on the Supreme Court bent on outlawing Sex For Pleasure were stacked there by Repubs.
All of your points are ridiculous but I've got to jump to:
7. Uh. Have you honestly not heard about the Repub governors who are banning books from libraries and schools? LOL.
She deserves to know!
All US women with a brain working, should vote against Trump and leave shameful Texas which would then die in about 50 years, when no more new generation who always came from women belly and they should be free to decide about their belly, just their right in modern countries.

With her, you get the same speech time after time. Just pull that string.
(...kkkk!) Sounds to me like you've got a classic case of Trump "crowd size" and "celebrity" endorsement envy!
Veep Harris, has always been the star of her rallies (even if Beyoncé helped to draw a bigger crowd) and since Beyoncé only spoke for a few minutes, her message was clear, it is time to sing a new song and didn't detract from the fact this was a political Harriz/Walz campaign rally. I love me some 91 yr old, Willie Nelson, what a national treasure he is. Why are you hating on Willie?
Trump doesn't get celebrities, because every time they show up, he INSULTS THEM in some nasty Trumpian senile way. And they become the butt of his jokes and memes. Next thing you know they go viral, as yet another casualty of the Trump's dumpster fire of INSULTS. Like who the fuck wants that?
But to add insult to injury, from senile Trump, at his rally in Las Vegas, the Latino reggaeton artist Nicky Jam, was introduced as a woman, Trump saying "she's 'hot'... where is she...where's Nicky" (...kkkk!)
The headlines, soon reduced Nicky Jam, as the butt of Trump's gaffe, as it was apparent senile fascist Trump didn't know (or didn't care to know), who Nicky was.
Needless to say, some of the reggaeton artist have withdrawn and rescinded their endorsements. (...kkkk!)
Yeah like any smart and intelligent pop star or celebrity is gonna go anywhere near within miles of a senile fascist Trump "career ending" rally.
Disappointed Beyoncé fans aside, sticking to the "When we fight, We Win" message was on point, as Veep Harris, got down to brass tacks and waxed eloquently and addressed, the state of abortion in Texas, that when women are bleeding out in parking lots and public bathrooms, Trump and Abbott, essentially have blood on their hands.
And for those DJT fans that came to see (Beyoncé or) what a joyous Harris/Walz campaign looks like and felt the need to call out DJT's name, I hope the MOMENT ISN'T LOST ON THEM!
After all we still live (for now) in a democracy, where you can go to your opposition's Democrat (Harris/Walz) political rally and freely "heckle" and make a fool out of yourself, and leave that opposition's rally, without being HARMED.
Those heckling DJT fans, are just proof positive, of what an united American democracy, will look like under a, joyous and wonderful Harris/Walz presidency!
Unfortunately I wouldn't suggest, Harris fans, attempt "heckling" at a senile fascist Trump rally. Not if they wanna come outta there ALIVE and end up a meme, as to what FASCISM under Trump rule would look like. Just like the cops killed and beaten, during the sacked capital, in the Jan 6th Trump insurrection riots.

https://crooksandliars.com/cltv/2024/10/jake-tapper-mocks-johnson-and
Pretty good video! The comedic bit of "...control room please show me, where Harris called Trump a fascist", was fantastic. It was a good example and highlighted the Repubs, continually boldface hypocrisy, on who exactly called who fascist. Naturally, it was the senile Trump!
Oh yes! It's all too very funny (and also very delusional), when those that would quote and wax poetic about repetitive lying and quote Joseph Goebbels, don't seem to quite understand when they're being brainwashed by Trump, into believing, many of his lies, which often lead to violence, an arrest, jail or worst.
Their gullibility to accept and believe those same "big lies", about the 2020 election being "stolen", as they now ridiculously believe, every piece of bullshit and wild accusations that comes out of the 78-yr old senile and habitual serial liar's mouth. It is just more evidence of the cult, than a serious political party.
But I guess when you're being lied to on a daily basis, you become blinded or numb to the pathology of Trump. It'd be funny, if it weren't so pitiful and delusional, too watch such brainwashed, zombified, radicalized, cultist behavior, play out in his "clown show" Republican Party.
My god. Where to begin?...
YES, where do you begin with such nonsensical Repub political culture wars on "woke"?
Well, I can't tell you where to begin, but I can tell you where it ended, for one "Meatball Ron" DeSantis's 2020 election ("Culture War") campaign run.
With regards to "woke", it was just as equally funny, to see "Meatball Ron" (a name Trump calls him) DeSantis, go down in Repub campaign historical flames, by basically, impaling himself on his "woke sword" (...kkkk!), as one of the WORST run campaigns, in Repub history.
With little to no substance, other than nonsensical "woke" gibberish, he (nor anyone else) could never clearly define, to WTF he was really talking about, other than slinging a "woke" slogan around, to make himself look "cool" and "hip".
Remember the bottom half of his campaign (perhaps 6-weeks before he quit and his sponsors dropped him like a bad joke), he never uttered, another single syllable w/r to his "war on woke" (...kkkk!) and had nothing else meaningful, to say or add to his campaign, after that.
"Meatball Ron" DeSantis's 2020 election campaign, based on nothing but "woke" cultural war propaganda, was an epic and classic textbook campaign failure.
