Yes, the Phaya Thai Express is indeed a great option to get in and out of Bangkok from the airport! Two weeks ago, I had a 6-7 hour transit at Suvarnabhumi. I simply deposited my carry-on bag at left luggage, went to the lower level, took the express to Phaya Thai, transferred to the BTS, and was enjoying my session at Mango about an hour after I landed! Reversed the process to get back to Suvarnabhumi, and slept like a baby on my long connecting flight. Much better option than chilling in the lounge!

Back in the Western World, women have real opportunities for real jobs and real salaries. Not the norm in Thailand. Jobs can be very hard to get in Thailand, hence so many selling it. I'm talking about in general, not about exceptions.

You are lacking "jai dee", in my opinion, and taking advantage of the sweet charming girls of Thailand, hooker or not. You will never have the kharma of the jai dee foreigners, and I am not talking about sucker foreigners, I am talking about foreigners who understand and are considerate of Thai conditions, so different to our western world. Thailand is superior in some ways, but usually its a struggle in Thailand for the basics, usually.
Perhaps, when you have spent as much time in Thailand as I have you will have a different attitude.

Just got back from the pickled liver in Soi 7/1, had a very nice pint of Fosters and some very tasty fish and chips. Admittedly it was not cod, which is the mainstay of chip shops in the U. K, it was some type of fish from New Zealand (apparently the food is not made on the premises but is delivered from Soi 11/1) , but never the less, it was very tasty and accompanied with hand cut thick chips, all round it was time very well spent. The Fosters tasted slightly different from back home as well but a really nice pint. Nothing to complain about, would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a break from the local cuisine. Although the local food I consider to be absolutely delicious, a break from what you like keeps the appetite sharp. Thanks for the responses to my asking about single malt whiskies, will take a look at the places which were recommended. Cheers for the pointers on starting a relationship in BKK as well, a lot of you guys have much more experience than I do in this complicated area and many other matters, so any tips will be very appreciated.
I have just read the same report posted on multiple forums regarding someone who visited the salon and also went to SOL. Although both establishments aim to offer a similar service BJ's, our target customer is seeking a different type of service. I was invited to a birthday party for a well known member of Bangkok society, nothing of any particular note to be honest, just a typical BP. Stayed for a respectable period of time then made my excuses and left.
On my way back popped into Nana plaza and went into straps (partially because it's one of the few bars in that area that I have never been to before). Not many customers in there to be honest but every business is down at present, sure this place will pick up soon, along with everyone else.
