Booked a holiday with the Mrs in Dec, staying at Hilton Arcadia Phuket I think it is on Karon/Patong beach. Looking for near by, Mid morning, afternoon action. Apart form Kristins is there any other Soapy/Oily massage joints near by. I am aware of the couple in Phuket Town, how far is Phuket town as more travelling time cuts down mongering time

Pattaya I've found for a GOOD LOOKING girl is 1000 short time, but a lot are now trying to get 1500 ST. Girls in nana plaza are trying for 2000 ST(wtf). You're going to be located just down the road from Karon Circle (or the traffic circle there) and when you reach the traffic circle from your hotel, you hang a right and a few blocks up are a buch of bars where you can get afternoon ST, but I'm not aware of any soapies there. In my experience, the soapies and better looking girls are in Patong, and its only 5 or 10 minutes in the tuktuk. If you go to the left out of your hotel, and head south, go over the little hill and down the other side in Kata (north), on the second left, there is a strip of girlie bars where you can find your odd diamond in the rough, on a good, though not until mid-afternoon. And if you keep going (south), past Club Med, on the first left is a street with about 5 or so oilies, and all the way at the end, around the corner, there was one I went to a few times with a couple of really beautiful women. Karon is really nice for walking, and the space it provides with the sidewalk makes it good for running. Ditto for Kata. One thing I don't like is how aggresive the girls have become over the past 3 or 4 years, they just don't have the laid back, go slow attitude they used to. I would guess Phuket Town will take twice as long to get to, but a Chinese friend told me the girls there are far prettier than in Patong. No, he couldn't take me. I'm always there with the Mrs. And have to go for afternoon delight.

Yes, BBBJ & FS on the menu. I suppose everthing is on the menu in all these places. The first places had some realy uglies. I mean there's just no point to that, right? I think I've been to the same place. The lonely, self-standing building just as you come over the hill? Worn on the inside? BTW, Kata Thani is a great place to stay if you want to be right on the beach, on a dead end road. It's very quiet and in one of the best locations if you are into staying away from the main areas. The joint you visited does not appear upscale at all, but I agree there are sweet girls there and that it's a good place to go. That's a place that still has somewhat of a go slow, not-all-about-the-money attitude. At least one of the bars -- it's on your right just before you get to the alley full of tiny bars -- has a massage facility that provides air mattress soapies. It's not a fishbowl, just a regular open-air bar facing the street. Can't recall the name but there's a door to the right labeled "massage."

Yes, 1000 ST and 1500 LT should be the rate, in particular during off-peak season, except for stunners (probably not more than 1 or 2 stunners in Phuket right now!). The problem is that Phuket is polluted by (quasi-) regular tourists who have no idea of how a really pretty asian girl looks like and what the prices in Thailand are (in particular in January and February). So some girls tend to believe that everybody should be like that.
In contrast, in Pattaya, mongers are in vast majority and usually know how much to pay for what.
Anyway, no big problem to get the standard prices. There are much more girls than customers anyway.

The going rate in massage shops in tourist places in Thailand is 500/1000/1500 for HJ/BJ/FS plus massage rate (i.e. 200/400). It's Thailand, you just ask, no problem!
BJ and FS are usually provided only in shops where you are greeted outside by sexy girls. If they are dressed traditionally, maybe you don't even get a HJ.
One excellent source of girls are the massage places.
MG are often pretty aggressive in pulling in customers off the street so it can be hard to spot the one girl you like when you've got a dozen girls out the front of just one place trying to get your attention. So just take your time and maybe find a spot you can check the girls out from a distance. Then ask the quiet young one for a massage (200Bht an hour?), make sure it's an oil massage. These places have small rooms with open ceilings, no aircon just fans and a curtain so it's unlikely you'll get FS here (I certainly wouldn't want to). You'll strip off and lie on the mattress, she'll put a towel over your and get to work. I find an hour massage is enough, more than that I get too cold under the fan. If you want a happy ending you might suggest early on that you'll give her 500Bht and give a wanking gesture (you can probably do less than 500B). When you roll over and she gives a HJ she'll probably say you can touch her (BTW her clothes are on). If you like her and feel a connection, save your 500Bht ask her out.
I'm a bit subtle and ask if she can come to my room to finish the massage "properly". Or maybe your hotel has a nice pool, does she like swimming? I'm here alone, can you take the afternoon off and go to the beach with me? I've never negotiated money at this point. Don't be shy, just about every girl in Patong is for sale. This isn't about saving money, I've found the MGs to be lovely, they tend to be more sensuous and touchy than BGs. And I really do enjoy afternoon sex more than drunken attempts at comparative anatomy late at night. And on subsequent days you might be able to get delivery, phone up for a booty. If you do go back to the shop you are now her guy and probably won't be able to see anyone else. call.
