I went through that area recently and the ones that were there in 2013 are almost all gone now, BUT, there are still places open there. It's a screwy area where the streets have 2 names often, buildings have 2 addresses, and two parallel streets will have the SAME name (like they named the block, not the street). It's a mess. It's a kind of square area off of Nguyen Van Linh with Skygarden as the border of the far left / west side. If you see Nathalie's Thai restaurant on a corner, that's the area. Opposite side of NVL from the Burger King ad Lotteria. After shutdowns, places gradually reopened. On the last street at the back (I saw a sign that said So 2) there are 3 of them that I could see. One is if you go left and it's called Gia Han, about 2/3 down on the left side. There's 2 on the right, one called Queen Bee and other Na Li. On the parallel street nearer to NVL, there's at least one more, right side, I think it's called Welcome. And in that whole square area, scattered around, there are surely at least a couple more. Months ago I went in and checked out some of the lineups, playing the role of stupid tourist, and must say I did not spot one in any of the places that made me need to do it, especially at that price (MC mentioned). But most of the places did have ones who would be fine if you were not feeling too picky. And they might get very hot ones there sometimes, I've seen reports of that in the past, so may be worth a look if you stay in that area or want to have a little adventure that day. They're all in walking distance of each other. Lots of good places to eat and drink near there too.
