Next time it would be better to ask this in the 'Bangkok Hotels' thread, but yes if you want to stay at the Nana Hotel you should have a reservation, it is a popular place. Same with Majestic Suites.

this is my first contribution to this website, which i have come to appreciate so much. this one is the freshest, but i will go back in time and submit reports on my other sexcapades from many different places around the world. i hope you enjoy reading it.

i just spent a couple of nights in bangkok at the start of a se asia trip. the hotel i chose was lebua at state tower, which i think was a great choice. the rooms are huge, the views are great, food is nice, the service is excellent. cost under us$200 per night, with free internet. don’t have a clue where it’s located in relation to all the “hot” spots (and i don’t care anyway). it is of course very much girl friendly, despite the heavy security in the evening.

I stay at this hotel 50bt by taxi to NEP.

it has Wifi in all rooms GF and with breakfast for 800 bth per night.

I would say rooms are a little better than nana plasa hotel. less tired and cleaner! 10 min walk to skytrain for daytime travel!

The address actually has been posted many many times. In fact, the address often becomes part of the name. "Soi 7 Beer Garden" on Sukhumvit. In the neighborhood of Nana Plaza on the opposite side of Sukhumvit.

Other Hotels have been doing it because it is a Great Revenue Generator. A friend of mine owns a hotel in BKK (it's not Giotto since he does not Charge a Joiner Fee) and he told me the "Joiner" revenue was over 3 million THB a year.

This is how Thai Hotels work, that's it, you either comply or they will not let the girl go up with you. Also, I don't suggest you argue at the reception about the charge, the girl will think you are cheap and you will most probably end up receiving lousy service.

What's the big deal? why not read the HOTELS Thread and book a hotel where you know they won't charge you for the girl? there are plenty in Bangkok. Or maybe you'd like to try in a non Girl friendly hotel just for argument's sake?
