Was there last night, some said it was the last night, others were not sure. Doorman thought it was tonight Saturday. Either way, the end of an era.

Lots of good memories. Though the place had been going downhill for a few years. I'd probably say when they changed the bar entrance to outside the house marked the beginning of the decline.
I feel sort of like I did when Help in Rio closed.

I talked to a girl that is a regular at the Mansion and she said that she was told that M2 will indeed reopen in January. She said that there will be a list of vetted known girls that will be allowed in there and absolutely no girls allowed on the premises outside of said list of girls. I don't know how true it is and she didn't tell me anything more than that. I told her to keep me posted of any other scuttlebutt that she hears.
It'd be cool if they turn Castillo into a high end casa with monthly parties. Better than nothing.

I stayed in the Novelty Suites close to the old Mansion by Oviedo mall in Dec. & it is pretty good there. No partying, but guests (chicas) enter free before 10 pm, only check ID at desk & you escort them down when through. After 10 PM. , I believe it's like 130 K. The hotel is descent and great breakfast buffet that's included. Also has good restaurant on site.
