Guilders/Florins to be dropped?
With the major Netherlands Antilles Islands of St Maarten & Curacao soon going the route of becoming separate entities under the Dutch Kingdom Umbrella, there is also the real possibility that they will adopt the US Dollar as their main currency and the Guilders/Florins will disappear completely.
The Guilders/Florins has been pegged to the US Dollar since 1971 with a fixed exchange rate of 1.79 Guilders/Florins = US$1.00.
The ‘Dollarisation’ of the Dutch Islands is discussed in the three articles below.

I really fucked up this Time
I did not know where to post this but here it is. Believe it or not, I arrived in Medellin this afternoon and looked at my Colombian phone. There were 3 messages from THE MICHELLE. She is home and wanted to see me. I could shoot myself. Needless to say my Medellin Novia was waiting at the airport.
Michelle asked me to get her a visa so that will be my first priority tomorrow. Then i have to figure out how to get to Cali to see her before going to my number one Novia in Bogota for a week. I hope to get her a visa for st martin and spend a few weeks with her on the boat.
Mongering is tough but someone has to do it.
