Again this trip when I was able to get away from mi novia and I went to the embassy of holland at 8:30 am. 93 street.
As usual the chicas applying for a visa were there.
I was there 4 times so far and scored each time.
On time it was actually a nurse looking for a visa to holland the other 3 were chicas waiting for visas to the islands.
Mel
So you went to an embassy and got a chick there? I don't understand? . Embassy is for political purposes and stuff, how would you get a chick there?
How far is Bogota Plaza Summit Hotel at Calle 100 No.18a 30 from Santa Fe Zona rosa? Is it chicas friendly?
Thanks
The Plaza's on the north side of 100, just off the autopista. Its a long way from St Fe -- thank God -- and not so far from ZR. The traffic's a pig: Av 68 (?) feeds into 100 making it solid at rush hours, and impossible to cross. I try and avoid anything further north than 100 for exactly that reason.
Apart from that its an ok place when I stayed there. Nothing fantastic, but not skanky either. Dunno about cf, sorry.

The Embassy of Holland
The chicas wait in line outside the embassy to enter and receive their visa to work .
Just wait around and you will usually see a fine lineup coming or going.
One day I was at a copy center across the street wit my steady novia and ran into another novia from pereilla.

Dutch Embassy
There's a discrete queue around the back. Just ask the doorman.
I know the address of the embassy and I found the building when I was in bogota, and I was there early in the morning, but I didn't see any line of working girls waiting to get visas for the dutch carribean islands on that particular day. in fact, there was no sign on the building of the presence of the embassy, but there was extra security.
I went to have a cappuccino at the coffee shop around the corner on P93 and there was another guy having a coffee. Eventually his girl friend came into the shop from the direction of the embassy, visa in hand!
There's a discrete queue around the back. Just ask the doorman.
That was meant to have been a joke, but the smiley indicating it didn't make it thru moderation.
Apologies.

Be careful
Hello!
I was checking el tiempo.com and in the Vive.in section they had a video report about Galerias Nightclubs for dancing. The Reporter sayed that many women go there looking for a partner for one night. I Was wondering If any of you have gone there looking forn non pros and how did you do.
Thanks!
Warning to all the members of this forum,
Be very careful with the bars and discos around Galerias mall. There are girls drugging guys with scopolamine (en. Wikipedia.org/wiki/Scopolamine). This is a drug taken from a local plant known as "borrachero" so it is very easy to get.
Under the influence of this drug you will give away your valuables and debit / credit card PINs, etc etc. If you have no money on you, literally, those girls and their gangs will beat the living shit out of you. This happens to a friend of mine, he is still in a hospital after one month. I am local and this happens to locals too.
Often people are over drugged and end up with cardiac unrest or loss of memory.

That's as may be, but it's a danger ANYWHERE in Colombia and many other places in South America. Most of the other nightclub areas are actually less safe than Galerias. It's considered the safest entertainment zone in the city, the municipal government has even given the clubs permission to keep their own hours instead of closing at 3am beacuse of the LOW incidence of crime.

Wingman required
Hello All,
I am in Bogota now for business and I have absolutely nothing to do during the nights. I currently stay in Calle 127 con carrera 15. Opposite the big mall.
Would love to have a wingman to be able to see the night action here.

Reocmendation Ver
I think for you:
1. Go to mezanine 106. It is in cra 15 with 106, second floor, go to place number 6. Not first see diferents locals.
2. Look "El Timepo" newspapers and find massage. Made cra 15 way, diferents places.
3. In the night go to ROMANOS BAR is safe, near to 107 with 15.
4. Go to JuanPablo in 93 street with 18. The best hour is after 10 pm.
About the gan bag, I don't know that place and the price is very cheaper. Be carefully.

Thanks Adictomujeres
Thanks for info Adictomujeres, I will check out these spots.
I read Rodeo9112's reports of bogota which he reported earlier and I visited Lancaster and some joint in Calle 86-CR15 (dont know the name)...I did not hook up with any of the chicas there but one this I noticed is that they kill you with the bar tab. For like a normal beer I paid something like 25000 pesos...that was crazy. Is this normal in bogota? I think next time I will visit a normal bar, get a bit wasted then visit the joints.
Also, do they have rooms at these joints? The salida fee hurts.

The Bogota List
Check out some of the places on the List.
I will be there on the 6th to check some out.
