I know this news came out of nowhere. I don't care if I don't get much chicks at DR. A brief up date to go with the monger guide to Sosua I wrote last month.

After Hours Clubs:

The strip, La Passions, CMP Club all close at 3:am after that time the crowd moves to a night club down the street that is in the casino building. The night club is the door next to the casino door; it charges 500 pesos to enter. I personally didn't enter the night club, if you go inside the casino next door, there is a glass door that connects the two from the inside, you can look through the glass door to check the crowd and see if it's worth entering. Many of the chicas hang out in the lobby out front or the steps by the front door and even make a round or two through the casino. There really is no reason to pay the cover and enter the night club if you don't want to. You can go into the casino free of charge and look through the glass door to see if there are any chicas worth doing. Or you can pick them up in the lobby before they enter or as they leave or simply sit in the casino as I did and wait for them to circle through and pick them up there as I did. The casino itself is owned by an American guy. The crowd in the night club is the same crowd that just an hour earlier was at D'Latina or Rumba, nothing new in the night club that you didn't already see along the strip.

CMP Club & La Passions:

Swung into both clubs once as I do on every trip, was there the weekend CMP club was raided. Wasn't there when it was raided but didn't notice any adverse effects, the club was open when I went in and every time I walked by. Have read some discouraging things about CMP Club and was told by Rick the owner of Rocky's about them padding your bill and then calling the police and having you arrested if you don't pay. All I can say is this has never happened to me. From my experience both places are fairly similar in their mode of operation both places have really HOT CHICAS, though I think the La Passions chicas are a little hotter. Both places have good clean rooms to session in, and with the exception of one episode with a La Passions chica I have always had great service from the girls at both places, and when I was about to complain about the bad attitude and session from the La Passions chica she changed her tune and gave me great service. As far as the padding your bill at CMP, do what I always do pay for every drink as soon as you receive it. Don't run a tab. I usually don't have the will power to last longer than 10 to 20 minutes in either place before I grab a chica and session, so I never order more than one water, doesn't give either place a chance to try any shenanigans. The hour session at both places is 2500 pesos and the girls are available for TLN at both places, the price will depend upon what time you take them out.

I have noticed a disturbing trend starting at both places, and I want to encourage all of you to do as I do, stop it before it gets started. The girls at both places are starting to ask for tips after the session. I never pay them, do what I do just smile act like you don't understand them and tell them you don't have any more money. 'Lo siento mi amor no tengo mas denero' This is a dangers trend to get started. This is how prices start to rise, first it's an expected tip after each session then its having to pay extra for things like BBBJ or DATY then the price for just basic service starts to go up, once it becomes standard for the La Passion and CMP Club girls to get a tip after service then the chicas along the strip will start to expect a tip above the asking price. A word of advice NEVER FLASH YOUR MONEY IN FRONT OF THE CHICAS, if she sees you have more money she is DEFINETLY going to ask for a tip. Do what I do only take out enough to pay for your water or whatever you are going to drink and enough to pay for the session, let the chicas see that you only have that amount then she will believe you don't have much on you and she won't push as hard for a tip. Keep the rest of your money out of sight. Please don't let the tip monster get loose or we are all going to see prices start to rise and service start to diminish and before we know it Sosua will turn into another damn Costa Rica.

One last thing the CMP Club chicas all go down to D' Latin after their shift so you can often pick them up at D'Latin for 1500.

Cost of a Chica:

I did not pay more than 1500 pesos for the hour for any chica I picked up off of the strip and I picked up a total of 18 chicas off the strip. I only had two or three chicas that would not accept 1500 every other chica went for 1500 I usually state the price and never ask them how much. 'Tu quieres ire me habitation' (you want to come back to my place) 'un mil quinientos para un sexo' (1500 for sex) a few asked for more but when I held at 1500 they accepted right away without much hesitation. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN 1500 for your chicas. They will all accept it and DO NOT TIP unless she does something special. One of the Haitian girls let me do her in the butt so I gave her an even 2000, but unless they are willing to do something extra special there is never any reason to tip and BBBJ and DATY are all standard at the 1500 price you do not have to pay extra for them. Make sure you INTERVIEW before you take the chica I always let them know that I expect these services at this price and I have never had any problem back in the room.

Had one lame experience at the bar next to el flow heading towards the old classicos, I forget the name of the place it's the one decorated in red. Saw a hot chica sitting at the bar that I wanted, approached her and she told me she was a bar tender there, the manager / whoever approached me and said she could leave if I paid him 1000 pesos and gave the girl 3000 pesos I had to laugh out loud and just got up and walked away, he tried to get me to stay and take the chica and started lowering the price, first he dropped the bar fine of 1000 then the chica fee started coming down first 2500 then 2000 finally 1500, but by then the mood between me and the chica was ruined and I had a feeling the session would have been soured and lame so I took a pass. I tell you this story because if they think you are a newbie in Sosua they are going to try to take you for as much as they can. This guy must have thought I just fell of the turnip truck and didn't know the score in Sosua so he was trying to get me to pay nearly three times the market price. Stick to your guns and don't let anyone or any chica take advantage of you the going price is 1500 for the hour and they will all come down to that if you hold fast, as the above story testifies to. If they don't come down its probably because for whatever reason the chica does not want to go with you, as happened with me with a couple chicas. So you are probably better off not taking her any way as even if you do pay the higher price it will be a lame session because she really didn't want to be with you in the first place.

Picking the Right Chica:

From my experience the more aggressive chicas along the strip the ones who come up to you, flash you, grind on you, rub their pussy on your leg while you are sitting or fondle your package are usually not that good in the room many of these aggressive chicas become mechanical business oriented and a disappointing session in the room. I have found many of the more docile chicas who are not as aggressive often give better GFE and PSE back in the room and generally give me a better session. The place is one of Ricks establishments under the Rocky's family. If you stay for a week or more or are a member of a Sosua oriented web site your transportation to and from the airport is free. Mary Rose is very nice, the kind of place you want to wife up with a chica for a few days with. It's about a ten to twenty minute walk to Rocky's and the strip and I made the walk both during day and night along the main road and felt safe. I did the walk at night with a wing man but still believe it would be safe to walk the main road to the strip solo at night. I personally had trouble getting the internet in the room but my wing man was having no trouble getting the internet on his computer in the room. I was able to get a good internet connect by the pool. The place is quite there are some chickens and roosters next door but I was never wakened in the morning by them and don't recall ever hearing them when I was in the room, just when I was outside I could hear them. There is a small convenient store across the street and down a few paces that sells products at local Dominican prices and I was getting better prices there than I was at the supermarket. It's a small store so doesn't carry everything but has enough of what I needed. The store caters mostly to local Dominicans and is also a bit of a hang out center for many of the local Dominicans and often I was the only none Spanish speaking pale white gringo in the place. But the place wants the tourist business from Mary Rose and the staff was always friendly to me. There is a shuttle that runs both ways between Mary Rose and Rocky's every two hours beginning at noon and ending at 2:am. The shuttle is free and there is no need to tip unless you want to, but Johnny doesn't ask for or expect it. Johnny usually picks me up or drops me off at the airport and I usually give him a tip at the end of my trip when he drops me off at the airport.

Dominican Beats up Chica in Rumbas:

Was sitting in Rumbas with my wing man and a group of mongers when My wing man spots this hot little chica that he just has to have. Only problem is there is this Dominican guy who looks like a Moto conch driver by her side. We couldn't tell if he was with her or just a Moto conch driver talking to her. They are both sitting in the back in front of the big screen when all of the sudden he starts pulling her out of the place by her hair punching her in her face and stomach the whole way out. Security at Rumbas did not do a thing and didn't even come near. The other chicas at Rumbas barely batted an eye and didn't even seem to notice; in fact no Dominicans even seemed to notice or care. Fortunately common since got the better of him and he didn't intervene. (fortunately for me to as I went and stood next to him, if he would of jumped in the other Dominicans would of jumped in on him then I would have to jump in and my old grandpa ass would of ended up on the bottom of the pile getting stomped on, then we both would of gotten arrested). What surprise all of us was the lack of concern or care by the Dominicans to the plight of this girl, different culture different customs I guess.

Police Crack Down:

Heard about the raid on CMP Club after I returned did not notice anything different about the place. Was open when I went and every time I walked by. The strip was alive and well with plenty of hot chicas available did not notice anything different. The beach was slow during the day very few chicas but I don't think that had anything to do with the crackdown. The only thing unusual is one night there were about a dozen or more police in two pickup trucks stopping at all of the Moto Conch corners and gathering up many of the Moto Conch drivers, they seemed to be arresting many of them and putting them in the back of the pickups and taking their bikes away. Someone said this had to do with the helmet law and they were cracking down on all of the Moto Conch drivers who weren't wearing their helmet.

Final Thoughts:

I still think Sosua is the best monger spot in the Americas. I love that place and next to Asia is one of the best places in the world to find pussy. I hope that the recent political talk of a crackdown is just that talk, and within a few months everything in the Dominican Republic is be back to normal. I would hate to see Sosua change for the worst.

On another note Photos and videos that we post here are FUBU for us by us and NOT TO BE SHARED WITH THE CHICAS. Whoever tells / shows the chicas the photos and videos we post here is a real A. H. And someone who must be trying to compensate for a 'physical short coming'. I suspect that many on this board get their impressions of Sosua by going from the New Garden to D'Latino's and back and rarely get to see areas like Playa Chiquita, La Mulata I and II, Las Canas, and the various residencial developments between Sosua and Cabarete.

Sosua has a very pleasant climate, with coastal breezes, is compact and fairly good for pedestrians and cyclists as most of the city, except the descent to the beach, is quite flat. The Playero Supermarket has recently been upgraded and there is a wide variety of decent restaurants and bar and places to just hang out and meet people. Sosua is adequately served with banks, medical, and dental clinics, and has a fairly decent infrastructure, especially if you compare it to many other locations in the DR.

Of course there is some overlap between the local resident expatriate population and the mongering population, but over the long run that might easily change. Even if you leave out considerations of mongering, it seems to me that Sosua is in many respects a better retirement location than anywhere I can think of in Florida. Notably the climate is better-warmer in Winter than in most of Florida, and cooler and breezier in the hotter months with few of the horrific summer electrical storms in the afternoons. The North Coast is also less vulnerable to hurricanes than Florida.
