To Newser8008.
That so funny most people think Indians are cheap but in their culture they like to bargin, I have many coworker in the US very nice people and not cheap I guess if you give him a big tip he will be even more shock.
Fast eddie 48.
I wish when they get off the SongThaw knowing full well it is 10 baht and the damn songthaw is stopped and holding up traffic that Indians do not bargain the fare.
I wish when they buy Thai T-shirts 3 for 99 baht do not bargain 4 for 99 baht in such a serious manner.
And especially bargaining for pussy not for yourself but for a group at 500 baht.
I like to bargain too but let's put it in perspective sometimes.

TT Exchange (in Pattaya) was decent last time. Will also have to check out the other places suggested by board members.

Incredible forum
I've been reading this forum for the last few months, and I'm honestly impressed with the depth of information contained within this one forum.
After reading all of these forums, I still have a few questions.
1. In your opinion, what's the best BJ bar in Pattaya and why?
2. Where is the best place to relax and people watch during the daytime hours near WS?
3. What do most mongers do during the daytime?
4. What's the single piece of advice you would offer to a new monger coming to Pattaya for the first time? (try to limit this answer to a sentence or two. I know there's a ton of advice on this forum, but I'm hoping for experts single best piece).
I'll be in Pattaya on Jan. 29th. For a week. If anybody gets bored and wants a wingman, I'll be available to stumble from bar to bar in search of the best parts of life.
Thanks again to the members who've provided in-depth reports about pricing, locations, and experiences.
Beach Road is very hit or miss these days. One day the numbers and quality are low and the other day there are quite a lot of cuties to be found. And last Sunday there was a police swipe once again so that doesn't help either.
Friday and Saturday nights are usually better than other nights. Last Friday I even spotted an Agogo girl there on her day off, and she's a real cutie and only 19 yo.
And yesterday a girl in the 'daytime shift' offered me her 18 yo sister who came over from Chon Buri where she has a 'normal' job. Not a looker and a bit too chubby to my taste (just like her older sister) but very sweet, very inexperienced and very wet.
So you CAN be lucky sometimes but it's certainly not what it used to be anymore. I used to pull almost 100% of my girls from BR but these days I'm 'forced' to pull girls from other sources as well. I've been lucky with some agogo girls (after very carefull selection) and I might as well have a look in the beer bars although I hate them, LOL.
Yes I found the same when I was there beginning of this month. But I was able to pull some good ones.
I am still al little confused as to when the best time of day it is to hit BR. I was primarily hitting it between 9-10 PM and was lucky enough to catch a couple of really cute girls right when they started their "shift". From your (vastly) greater experience what do you think is the best time?

Then exchange at one of the independent (meaning not linked to a big bank) exchange booths anywhere in Bangkok or Pattaya. The difference between those money exchangers is too small to really bother.

You can try your luck before 9 PM but the selection will be thinner.
And I often take a stroll in the morning or afternoon as well because there can be new girls sometimes or non-pro's who are in need of some extra cash (as reported in my last post for example). But in the past I have had more luck with that than these days. In the daytime it's mostly horrendous now.

3) guess, maybe sleep.
4) I would not waste my time on beer bar girls. Very hard to find a decent looking one that will not give you some issue. A week is a short time if able spend the extra cash on higher end GoGo girls, eg. Baccarra.
Try to stay in control and don't get really drunk. Bad things may happen and you will not remember the good things.
And don't plan too much. Go with the flow and take it easy.
a few questions
A few answers:
1. Don't know, don't care. I prefer the complete sexual act with a pretty girl which includes, but is not limited to a BBBJ.
2. Soi 6 from 5 pm until it is time to head over to the Go Go's (7:30 pm).
3. I like to Walk Beach Road and then cool out by the hotel pool.
4. See Wolvenvacht's and Gin & Tonic's last piece of advice down below. Be a nice guy, follow your bliss (instincts), don't over plan, concentrate on the Go Go's and possibly a few late night places like Insomnia and IBar. Relax, you are going to have a great time.

Good advice
Thanks for the insights and advice.
My current plan is to see the inside of as many go-gos as possible, visit a BJ bar, and see the inside of a room above Soi 6 with a big-breasted spinner.
There are like 60 go-go's on walking street, as far as I've heard. I think it would be cool to check out around half of those. Ambitious?
Discos aren't really my thing, but everybody speaks highly of them; guess I'll into them as well.
Truthfully, I'm more of an early-riser than a night owl. Chances are, you'll see me jogging along Beach Road at the same time as you are stumbling out of a disco.
This is my first ever mongering experience, so my motto for this trip is "pace yourself".
This forum has some great stories; I can't wait to add my own.

If you want a long morning jog or walk check out 5 km long Jomtien Beach. Just go to South Rd. (Pattaya Tai) & 2nd. Rd. (Pattaya Sai Song) were you will see a long line of baht buses. They fill and leave from the north end by the intersection. Stay on the bus to the end of the route, 10 baht, then start walking back nw. When the road turns right that is the start of the gay beach. If you want a rest sit in one of the beach concession chairs for 30 baht and order a drink. Keep an eye out for young Russian super models when choosing a place to plant yourself for a few relaxing hours. My first year vacationing here I stayed on 2nd road by WS and did this routine for 2 months. After that I started staying in Jomtien and visiting Pattaya at night.
