I had a 1 night layover in Manila. Stayed at the AG New World Hotel on Pedro Gil. Its a decent hotel, decent price (about $100 USD including taxes and fees). Location is less than 5 minutes walk to beach, Robinson Mall and LA Cafe. I would recommend.

I arrived after dark, and was a bit cautious. As soon as I left my hotel, there were 4 or 5 guys offering me girls. The surrounding area looked a bit rundown, but was actually quite safe.

I checked Robinson's Mall. Its pretty large. I had a hard time finding the Burger King that is supposed to be the area for freelancers. When I did find it, there did not seem to be much action. Over by the Starbucks I did see a few working girls.

Walked over to LA Cafe and was propositioned by a few ladyboys in the area, and a few drugged out Streetwalkers.

Arrived at LA Cafe around 9 pm. It was packed, but a Finnish guy allowed me to join at his table. Over the next 3 hours, I had about 6 drinks + a few lady drinks for a total of about 1100 pesos. Lots of girls in the place, but most were hard core veterans. There were a few girls that fit my type (slim, under 25, tall). One of them was smiling at me, but by the time I got over to her, some other guy zoomed in. The others did not seem interested.

Overall, had a decent time at LA cafe.

Hit EDSA complex. Can't remember the names of the places, but there was ok (not great) talent. Was quoted 3 k - 6 k. The 6 k were long time.

Unfortunately, went home empty handed as nothing really tickled my fancy.

Overall, I was disappointed because if there other bars or clubs near LA cafe, I could not find them.

I mean, it isn't within walking distance like Heritage (where I'm currently staying) but depending on traffic, I'd guess it is about a 20 minute taxi ride, uber shows 231 pesos. Besides the location and price, Heritage doesn't have a lot going for it. It is a bit rundown nowadays.

The standard operating procedure is to point out a girl you like to the mamasan, and buy her a drink. You will answer and ask the standard 5 questions. Where you from, how old are you, are you married, where you stay, and how long you stay. Be playful and happy, no one likes a sour puss. If there is chemistry, ask her if she does long time or short time, and how much; you can discuss and negotiate any <must do like uncovered BJ which is pretty standard. Most insist on a condom. You should expect 2000-3000ST and 4000 LT, but LT is hard to find now which is ok for me as I prefer to sleep alone. You pay this amount to the girl after the deed. You pay 2000 to the bar to take her out. Short time is generally 2 hours, 1 pop. Long time is 4 hours, 2 pops. Just ask the girl.

The only rip offs are avoidable. The food menu that is walked around and offered is way overpriced, but convenient. The taxis that wait outside will give you a flat rate 2-5 times what a metered cab will cost; you can always flag down one of the many passing cabs and ask him to use the meter. Generally speaking, cabs waiting outside any entertainment venues are rip offs. Again, avoid the Urbanites club just to the left. Or if you do go in, update us!

Has anyone gone to the Bullets VIP club in EDSA complex? Are the girls any better? Is there a cover?

I just answered my own question. There is no cover at bullet bar. I'the call it a lounge. There were a couple ladies singing karaoke and the mamassn said a band would be on shortly. Comfortable couches circling the stage. About 10 well dressed lady hostesses, nothing to write home about though. A San Miguel was the standard price of 145 pesos.

MD.[/QUOTE]The barfine is or was 1950 p when I was last at Cotton Club, my favorite EDSA bar. ST is usually around 3000 to 3500p / LT is usually around 4500 to 5000p ballpark figures only. Use these figures as a rough guide.

My advice regarding ST / LT is to book ST for your 1st tryst with any Manila bar girl no matter how sexy she is or how nice she is in the bar. My experience is that a girl is like a box of chocolates. You never know what youre going to find until you un cork her and get inside (have sex). If you click with a girl then most likely she will be more than willing to extend the evening and stay the night for a nominal fee, but better yet in my opinion and experience, is to let her go and go see her again in her bar a couple of nights later. She will be MOST happy to see you again when you make that surprise 2nd visit and that is when the good times really begin to roll ie the GFE: with ST dissolving into LT at no additional cost, condoms no longer being requested or required, and other GF's offered up for party party threesomes, ect ect. A more likely reason is that if you say you have local friends, they're concerned you might know their friends or family, and their P4 P activities may be a closely guarded secret.

Yes, may be I made a wrong moved by telling them I have local friends around but I did tell them they are not with me, actually, at the moment I mentioned it purposedly just to prevent them get to other objectives other than.
