One big problem, at least when i stayed there a couple of years ago, no in-room internet connection. Checked their web site and it says nothing about it nowdays either. Just says:
*Facsimile, photocopying and Internet services
If internet is not an issue for you, i guess Swiss is an OK place to stay. Location is great!
It is interesting they did not, at first, give you the promo rate. I spent 6 days there earlier this month with the long stay promotion. Liked the place and asked for it in January. They said yes if I made the reservation for the long stay promo before year end this year.
But you got a really good rate. Is this the standard room? Or Superior room?

But I checked it on the Google Maps, it locates in the far end of the soi. I thought it would take a long walk if the hotel didn’t provide the Tuk-Tuk service. The reviews of this hotel are good. After all it’s near the Nana plaza. Have a nice trip.

I stay at The Dawin next door. Its not that far down the Soi. Maybe a 5 minute walk max to Nana with a mix of bars and places to eat inbetween.

I remember they had a special offer at the time. 1200 thb incl. Breakfast.

I stay in Swiss park back in 1998 it was a dump then but for 1200 bht and good locations is a good vaule in BKK, they want to charge a 500 bht joiner fee since I only book single, as I remember I paid 1400 10 yr ago maybe the room is worst now this place is about 30 +yr old, I think the president grande or the new Citiande down the st is much better place to stay.

Correction: "Dawin" (No R)
As Dawin is almost right next to Ibis, the location doesn't matter so much. Both are close enough to Nana Plaza. O.K. Ibis is probably 50m further.

Probably faced with Viengtai near Khaosan road or Grand China Princess in Chinatown. Both are probably at least 1km from Wat Pho and while have internet its probably not free.

Near Wat Pho is not a great location to stay really.
You might be bored out of your brain.
Might be faced with staying a bit further away and having Tilac travel a little further by motorcycle or whatever.
This is a really tough question for a sex forum!
I doubt if there is a good answer to the question.
If was me, I would probably pick to stay in Silom close to BTS skytrain and about 3.5 km from Wat Pho.

I am going to Bangkok for about 3 days. What is the best hotel in Nana to stay at?
My budget is about 1000 baht per day.
I was thinking Dynasty Inn? Was about 980 baht a few years ago.
What is Nana Hotel like? I head about 1500 baht? And they are a "family hotel now. WTF! "
I have stayed at Nanathai. Right at the end of the soi. A few years ago.

Soi DB is a good site to get general info on Bangkok including Hotels near some spot. Not a booking site though but tries to give features of Hotels like whether has Broadband, Pool, Gym, etc.

Please note that Soi DB hasn't got every single Hotel in Sukhumwit yet but is close.

How about anywhere along the river and have her take the local riverboat to the Wat Po area?
All, looks like I will be staying at Century Park Hotel next month as a result of circumstances. Does anyone have experience of this hotel when it coes to being GF? Have searched forum to no avail - any advice much appreciated.
