I remember a couple of other small bars and a couple of inexpensive motels on that street but I don't recall seeing the beer garden. I must have been a little too hungover from the night before. From my experience yes. A long time ago I had a supplier meet me (a female rep) and we were going up to the room to get some samples and the friggin hotel tried to charge a joiner and take her ID. Talk about embarrasing for me and the supplier... that sure back fired for the hotel since I checked out and never returned. Some properties might make money but they can also turn off customers just as easily by charging. Unfortuantely there is a large qty of non P4P tourists out there where hotels can get their revenue from. We are only a small number of the tourists in Thailand.

I have been for some time reader only and after paying my dues recent member of ISG. I have been on exploiting side so far. Reports and stories have proved to be useful planning fun travel destinations. I try to return the favor. BTW, I am North European heavy set guy.

I am turning into my forties but I had not been using paid lady services before my first trip to Thailand and Bangkok. The visit opened my eyes. Do not get me wrong. I have been many striptease places in US and some European ones. After visiting Soi Cowboy I realized how lame those places had been. In USA "no pants off with when alcohol served"... Blah. I stayed five days in ISG recommended hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 33. I will probably be the first and only non-returning customer. Housing was fine but I got real cold shoulder treatment in the sports bar after turning down two first girls who approached me. I had my reasons; just went to see the place, as first timer did not know the scene at all and I had a horrible jet lag. After I complained the owner put me between a rock and hard place ordering some girls from that evening in line before me asked who he should fire. Be in peaceful mind. No-one got fired. I think it was just a show. I did not find it funny.
