How do I get to the Pink Ladies?
I looked at the wikimap but it looks hard to get there.
Stopped into both the Pink Lady & the Colorado over the weekend. No sign of PL's contender "Ruby" (I heard she is a Saturday & Sunday-nighter only & was either awol or hella-late on Saturday). Colorado's "Evie" is actually "Ivy" (pronounced "Eevee") & won't be back for a few weeks. PL's Roxanna & Gabby are both still around.
I also hear the li'l hole-in-the-wall restaurant across from the Pink Lady is good.
I walked up Francisco Villa one weekday afternoon & didn't see any sw.

OR you can try to take a taxi to the S-Mart & walk south from there to try & cut out the middle-man (somebody recently updated wiki to show the S-Mart).
OR you can walk--from what I've seen & heard, I'd walk south down Ave Juarez to the cathedral area & then west to the Manport Hotel, south to the S-Mart, & south again on to the Pink Lady (look for the pink neon arrow).
Not too long ago, one of you fellows gave a website of some kind to check out the wait times, lines, etc., to go back to the U.S. from Juarez. I believe it was a Mexican site and apparently more accurate than the U.S. websites. Whoever it was, can you please list the website, information, etc., again??
Thanks.

Both of those will work.
The S-Mart is a few blocks south of 16 de Septembre St. on Altimiriano, same street Manport is on, PL is a bit farther.

Hi guys,
Just want a little advice. Guy on the East Coast here, and thinking of making a trip South of the Border for some adult entertainment. I thought I read on this board a while ago, about Mexico cleaning up Juarez up a little, so thought I would post to see if that is, in fact, the case. Last time in Juarez was April of '06, so has it changed that much since then?
Checked flights to El Paso and to San Jose, CR, and to San Jose was about double the price. For people that have been to both cities, would it be worth the extra money and just skip Jaurez and going to San Jose? I can only get away for a long weekend (Fri to Sun), so it would be for just a couple nights.
Anyway, just trying to get the best bang for the buck!
Thanks in advance!

That "radionet1490" site that WSG relisted was the one I posted for the bridge-cam views. One of the local Juarez TV channels (I forget which but available at Villa Manport) also sequences thru various bridge cams as well.
Anybody find a website for that rotating camera high above Ave Juarez, a few blocks in, or is that one strictly "Hermano Grande"?

Willis67
Willis, I think that it depends on what is in your budget and what your personal taste are. At double the plane cost and the top shelf girls in Costa Rica(the del rey hotel chicas) wanting $100 per hr i would say skip CR and head to Mexico.(Of course chicas can be had in CR at some of the massage places that ticos Frequent for about $10).
IMHO I would say if possible and to get the best bang for your buck skip J-town competely and head to Tijuana. Top shelf chicas are about $60 at the 2 preimer clubs(even cheaper just around the corner at say Hong Kong's and the host of places on that street). Women are better looking in general and a bit more personal than the chicas in J-town.

Willis67
There is no comparison between Juarez and Costa Rica! Jaurez is okay if you live close to the border or don't have access to the real Latin America, but not for the situation you described for yourself. Juarez is not worth the effort!
Costa Rica is totally better than Juarez. All the hookers are from Nicaragua and Colombia. Typical price is $40. $100. Costa Rica has become grossly Americanized.
If you want bang-for-the-buck then you need to check out Nicaragua. In my opinion, Nicaragua is way better than Costa Rica and cheaper. All the Nicaraguan hookers are from Nicaragua. Typical price is $8. $27.
Panama is a good option as well. Panama is way better than Costa Rica and Panama has night life until 8a. M. All the hookers are from Colombia and Dominican Republic. Typical price is $40. $100. Panama is an international city with lots of fun.
The above prices are for 1-hour.
Don't waste your time in Juarez.

Willis67
I grew up on the Texas border and kept going back to places like Juarez, Laredo and Matamoros for chubby, overpriced women with an attitude. Then I went to South America and saw the error of my ways.
As long as you find a reasonable airfare ($600-$700) out of the East Coast to places like Medellin, Colombia, it'll be much more worth your while. The women are younger, more fit and customer-friendly. Check the Colombia board for details.

Might also consider other border cities, like Nuevo Laredo or Acuña.
Both are much better than Juarez. But a first time visitor may need some guidance or direction, but I have been to all of them, Juarez is a last choice for me. Just a FYI, my first monger trip to Juarez was back in 1972, my first visit was 1968.
Why all the carping about CJ? I have no complaints and I’ve done Matamoros, NL, Acuna and Costa Rica. Anybody know anything about Princesses’ that is now Caesar’s on the corner of Bolivia and September 16th. A friend of mine was in there last night and said there were some pretty good selections on the menu and no B drinking.
Thanks for the info everyone. Sounds like I should stay away from Juarez. Flights to San Diego are cheaper anyway, but I just assumed that Juarez would be cheaper that Tijuanna (sp? ).
But, I might try to just spend a little more, and header further south!
