As I mentioned we will stay in CP in my opinion this is the best way to connect busines matters with fun. In CP you can always count on help from BSD he can organize you everything from hotel room and party in KTV including if you want to have more fun contact him via PM and he can prepare agenda for you with all details. Its my 6th time in China but last two was prepared by BSD and that was our best time in China.

Now days is a hit and miss before 2006 some of the best looking SW in China at road of gold taojin Road on a good night you see as many as 20 all model quality after 10pm, they try to make a fast ST200- 300 rmb a pop before going to the bar looking for customer for an all nighter.

Now, I can only find them inside ktvs. Still not too bad, as there is at least that reliable way to find them and once I found a few, I don't even have time to look more since they already keep me busy every night when I come over, some times I need to have one for early evening and another for over night since my time in Guangzhou is usully limited to just one week.

Those were the good old days. Coined by Johnnykon666 aka Superforce99, The Road of Gold was a section of Taojin Road, just past the flyover at the top of the hill. Although many of the girls were not so foreigner friendly in those days, you could always find some top quality takers with ST rooms available across the street for 50RMB. In my recollection, they have not been there since well before 2006 though. Either you or I are losing our memory in our old age, my friend. LOL. When do you think the Ramada BBS were shut?

I think you might be right the big crack down in Guangzhou is around 2005 and Ramada bbs is gone even before that, I spend alot of time in Guangzhou from 1998. 2006 and I have pick up many nice SW there girl are much better looking than the one in Ramada bbs.

AF[/QUOTE]Guangzhou was cleaned up around 2005/2006, so don't dwell on the past. Girls continue to come down to work, and just not so much in your face anymore, which is a good thing. I don't want to run into WGs when I need to bring my family over to visits.
As far as I am concern, Guangzhou is still a paradise, you just need to know where to find the doors.

It is easy for you to say you live there for newbie is not even for myself, Guangzhou is a big city that is alway changing and I found it too expensive and less option than big city like Shenzhen or Zhu Hai, hotel in Guangzhou are not very GF even before the big crack down, that is why small town like CP is so popular to Mongering much easy to find girl and so much cheaper.

If I can get away from my KTV girls for a night, I can venture out a bit and report on sauna situations, as that seems a more popular topics. I don't live in Guangzhou, I I just go there very often so I know which hotel is GF, and I had reported my findings on this thread multiple times.
From the various taxi drivers I talked to, it seems that all the good saunas are in the south-western part of the city, in the Nanhai area, a short 15-20 minute cab ride from the city at night when there is no traffic.

I appreciate your knowledgeable reports on unlocking the gates to the goodies of Guangzhou. I've been living here since May '11 and with the help of the reports on WAG and a lot of school of hard knocks have cracked it open a bit. It is out there, and man, your mileage may vary. Lately have read your recommendations for the KTV channel to great and continuing girls which sounds good for someone who is living here or in and out frequently but wondering if your road to glory doesn't require some fluency in putonghua plus a deep pocket for the KTV charges and the girls? Do you have a way to go in solo, have a great time and not go home broke? What do the repeat dates with the girls you meet at the KTVs come out to in rmb? KTVs are an acquired taste for myself and the Guangzhou places don't seem like any of the reports coming out of Changping or Donguang. Tianhe where I live has just opened several but the room rates are high, not the warmest vibe and I have no idea on the details so far. Trying to figure out how to get started and come home happy. Any suggestions appreciated for an alumni of Jackson's AP.

I have not been to those ktvs in Tianhe and I think those are really expensive. The one I went was similarily priced as the higher end ones in CP or those in Panyu. The girls are 3/10/13, with the pricier ones to sit for 500 and I didn't ask for the rest since they are just taller and I like short and slim girls. Going to KTV solo is expensive anywhere in the world, I was just saying Guangzhou can also find similar deals when compared to surrounding towns, with the benifit of not needing to go often, since you will find your girls after going once or twice and be set for months.

As for language, yes or no, but I think you have to be able to make the girl like you enough to keep the relationship going, without paying extra. The general rule for KTV girls take out is to substitude their working pay, so instead of going to work, they come to you, with predictability, so if she likes you, she will certainly prefer spending time with you then going to work with some unpredictable guy.

The reason language may not matter is that I don't usually want to spend time with these girls, or it depends. I have at least 3 right now and I just don't have the time, so maybe I spend time with the girl I like the most but for the other two who are better with BBBJ I just call them in and do the deed and get them out, not much talking required really, but for the more beautiful one with BJ still in trainning, then I spend the time to go to bars and restaurants and even some shopping, to make sure she will try more with the mouth, as that is usually very hard to get from really hot girls.

So all in all, if going solo is to expensive, find someone else to go with will certainly help a lot, as it will take at least two visits, since the first time you go, they will not bring out the better quality girls to you, they have to know that you are more a regular before they open their treasure chest.
Room rates on most ktvs are similar, around 1000, and tips for servers 300, so the biggest variables are in the fees for the girls, and those in Tianhe maybe 5/15/20.
