I don't know what checks and stuff you are refering to but there is absolutely no hassle in traveling to Thailand. Visa on arrival is available for indians. No elaborate planning is required. Just book your flight and hotel online and off you go. Pune. Bangkok via Kolkata is the best option and flight costs around 20-21 K in off peak season. Avoid going in Dec-Jan as that is the peak tourist season there and everything costs more. I just returned from BKK in Nov end and going there again in April.

After a very long waiting period of almost over 7 months I am in this city where I always wanted to be but thanks to my luck you say, I was unable to and was stuck in some rural area of our nation.
