I would say G7 should revised who are member states and should focus more on Global leading nations as EU is not working LOL, but problem is most nations in EU are not fit to stand alone as a country as you said, they need each others dependency to function as a country. Even during war, European nations could not even stop Germany till US came in. Same goes for Asia with Japan.

Maybe inside borders will open for Summer, meaning 1 July as seem planned for Austria, but Western Europe have to learn, to become much more independent.

In fact it depends on the level of risk you are willing to take. Less contacts less risks to get infected. I checked how long the virus can survive on your clothes, a glass, a door handle, a desk, a table. It is just terrible probably it can survive several days on some metallic parts. Personally I have reduced to the strict minimum all my contacts, when I go shopping I wash all my things and don t touch them for several days. I consider dating prostitutes in brothels.
