Also if your not familiar with Mexico it is rare to see males wearing shorts, the younger generation might carry on this tradition less but to go to an establishment in shorts is rare. I was in San Diego last week, visiting friends. Usually, I split my trip in half, the first half dedicated to mongering and the 2nd half dedicated to my buddies in San Diego. From what I've read Mexico won't do anything about dumping raw sewage into the ocean, wnd at some point the hope is usa gets the funding to build a plant near the border so we can import some of their sewage and filter it. Look at the population growth of Tijuana. Any treatment plant is likely 15 years away, and even then not expected to handle all there sewage, and Tijuana population in 15 years probably increases by 30 to 40%. At some point you won't even be able to go in the San Diego ocean because the sewage has already ruined Coronado. Once it moves up 4 miles it will wipe out ocean beach mission beach and pacific beach. A lot people live in San Diego specifically for the ocean so a lot people will end up moving out of San Diego at some point.

I've heard of Maseros going over there as well with a bucket of beers.
