Damage 2500ST and 5000 LT.
Wow! That seems like a lot for a piece of Thai a$$. I've paid less in Bahrain. I might as well keep a regular gf!
As they say cheaper to keep her.

Hey All,
Will be going to Bangkok first time next weekend. Wanted to make sure I had my facts right.
Where to stay: Hotel on Sukhumvit road, Nana Soi 4.
Transportation: from Airport go to Arrivals to get METERED taxi to avoid 50 BHT.
Where to go:
High end girls- SPASSO. 4000 BHT for SHORT TIME which is 2-3 hours?
Around NANA Plaza:
-DC10.
-Las Vegas.
-Rainbow 4.
600 BHT bar fine?
Around Soi Cowboy:
Sharks.
Thermae: Coffee Shop, go there after 11 pm, bottom of Ruam Chit Hotel.
After 2 am go to: s Bangkok Beat on Suk. Soi 7. 1 (same Soi as Eden Club). Formally known as Absolut Bar.
During Daytime: Between Soi 3 and 5 on Sukhumvit- freelancers.
Also around Soi 6 I. E. Close to Nana Plaza.
Plenty of Russians (Uzbek) , Moroccons and Africans availabe in the street arround Soi Arab, corner with Sukumvit, in and out side Grace Hotel.
Most of the available from BHT 1000 to BHT 2000.
New bar Bamboo: on Soi Arab opposite Grace Hotel. Entry BHT 100, no free drink and cousine exclusively local. Price from BHT 1000 to BHT 1500.
General cost:
1500 st- 3hours.
2000-3000-lt.
Any other info, maybe more places to check out in Soi besides Sharks?
Thanks

Thanks
You have done your homework, but I just tell you that if you want to avoid the 50b. Airport charge, you need to go to DEPARTURE level. Not to arrrival!
Police discourage taxi to pick up customers there, so you need to behave in the right way as you might arrive in the bad moment.
Append to me once. Taxi got me on board and then police stopped him and fined him (and kept the licence)

1. Spasso. Don't expect too much here. Girls are a little older, dressed nice, ask more money because of the surroundings, may provide better company, but are not that hot. Check it out by all means. Are they worth it? I never found a girl I wanted here.
2. Thermae. Is worth checking out if you have nothing going on at this time of the night or are just curious, but beware, the better looking girls on the left as you enter are not looking for white boys. YMMV ie you may get lucky.
3. Nana. Rainbow IV is my favorite, but if you don't find what you are looking for be sure to check out the remaining Rainbow bars.
4. Cowboy. It is easy to check the talent at all the bars. Baccara is the best IMHO. Stay away from all of the Arab's bars: Rio, Kiss, Déjà Vu, Midnight, Sahara, & Rawhide.
5. Why fool around with non Thais? Not worth it. Again IMHO.
6. DO NOT MISS the massage parlors. Soapy and oily. In the afternoon, the oily massage parlors are best thing going on in BKK. Soapies are well worth your time and money in the evening.
Excellent summarization.
I think st means2 hours or so not three.
Don't forget mango / snow white massage parlours.
Thanks for the advice. I am amazed however how important $1. 60 is to some people.
I agree. I don't go to departure for the 50b. For sure, LOL.
But it seems lots seem to care (what for I don't know. Maybe the principle of cutting an expense? Hard to tell)
But dependin gon the line at arrivals, at departure you can hop in a taxi in a matter of seconds, prior a cross check of the price (as they tend to be smart) and as long as it is not an odd hour (then they either get smarter or. There are few and the police enforces more their action)
What is funny about this 50b. Fee is that it is official, it doesn't go to the airport authority, it is not compuslory, but dare to say that to a taxi driver. LOL.
I think, ultimately pays for the people sitting at the booth and handing over numbered slips with the destination written on and they keep a copy.
Should whatever happens with the taxi, and you keep your slip in the pockete they can track the taxi. A sort of precaution, in a way. That is what you pay for.

Much quicker and faster than dealing with the taxi stand, especially if coming in on a domestic flight. I've never had a problem with police here (over 100 x). Just get the driver to agree to "taxi meter," before you get in the car. Also, never go with a driver that is standing outside of his car. These guys are the ones who are scamming.

I was over in Patpong the other night with a visiting friend. Took him to the Pussy Collection club. Lots of nice A-team dancers there right now. My friend bar fined a sweet looking Lao cutie - said she was a lot of fun ST.
The girls at Pussy Collection dance in bikinis only, but a lot of them are energetic and not just "pole hangers." Beers are 120 baht (if I remember right)
There is one dark skinned hottie that has an amazing body. I would have given her some serious thought, but I had my Mrs. along. So it goes. ;)

Very interesting fellow who I am now in email contact with. At Bangkok airport he asked how I was getting into town. I said meter taxi. He said come with him to the 4th floor and pick up a drop off taxi. I said that is illegal. He laughed and said, no problem if you are a monk. I thanked him for the tip and paid the 50 Baht fee at the cab stand. Still a very cheap ride into town.
Thanks for the advice. I am amazed however how important $1. 60 is to some people.
I 2nd that, but it is true that getting a Taxi from Departure level saves time in a queue as well as money. If it was just the money, I wouldn't bother.
For guys whinging about the price of girls, they should not be in the BKK thread at all, as its known that Pattaya is much cheaper.
In fact, I've heard that you get a girl on the outskirts on Phnom Penh (I guessed the spelling) , who can't speak English at all, for about $5.
Some guys in Cambodia prefer this, as its almost a freebie. Its like, you then ask yourself will I buy a drink or a fuck?

Good for him a quick turn around of business and that is it.
I did not reach the 100x but indeed only happneed once that police really fined the driver.
Usually they turn their heads, move around pretending to discipline the traffic but actually ignoring what is happening.
I oknow nobody has never complained and used the numbered ticket, but looks good at the eyes of the tourism authority to make the tourist comfortable, especially the new comer.
In Buenos Aires this was a must (all hotels tracked down your room number and taxi number) as the rate of criminals amongst the taxi drivers there is quite high.

Thanks
I was in BKK some weeks ago. I took the relatively new trainservice. 40 B for the regular service (about 30 min) to downtown and 150B for the express service (about 15 min). At the end station you can easily connect with the BTS that will take you to Sukhumvit if it there you are staying. This is what I will be using in the future!
@surf looker.
the uzbek scene is pretty sad at the moment. maybe the best have all left due to the floods and the ones left are kinda nasty (not that there is anything wrong with that if that's your thing). some had this weird gothic-**** thing going for them which would have been kinda different. also, i think from reading the forum there is another bar (spasso?) that they congregate but pricing is higher due to the venue but i've never checked it out.
i wold rather go for a double header at [CodeWord900] than go st with them but if, as 99% of the members here, you are never going to uzbekistan then it maybe worthwhile to cross them off your list.
it's funny to hear them negotiate with the arabs and indians here in pattaya. not sure of the pricing but it must be a lot to be gang banged by 5 over weight sweaty dudes.
thanks all. so the plan is:
nana plaza- freelancers, rainbow 4 and angels.
soi cowboy- sharks.
i'm not really big on massage parlors or go-go places. i went to singapore and enjoyed orchard street.
basically looking for bars where i can sit down and have girls come up to me or go up to them and then negotiate with them in regards to what they will or will not do and for how much.
is this possible by picking one of the go-go dancers?
