I suppose you mean Soi Buakhao, which is not the same as 3rd Road. There's not much action on 3rd Road as far as I know.

But if you're a bar fly and night owl and you only use the room for showering and sleeping (in the day time) then a cheap room can be sufficient.

I was on 2nd Rd and just finished ordering a Chicken Kabob for 60 baht when the cops went by and the food vendors scrambled out of the area taking someone's Kabob on the run! They left in their motor bikes and push carts. They came back as business as usual 5 minutes later.
I took a walk to Beach Rd and I saw the cops again in a truck with 5 or 6 officers in the back of the truck. Unlike the other night, this time the gals paid no attention to them and stayed put. Might have to do with the lights being on or off. They were off this time.

I am coming to Pattaya on 14 and would like to take my girl on yacht during evening some for adventure and love making.
Is it advisable? If yes, if any decent and credible option available?

The way I look at it, many of the bars are driving away potential customers.
Firstly, my mistakes are: I would see a gal I want to get to know and I would plant myself a seat or two or maybe on the next part of the bar a bit always from her. But next thing that happens is another gal that I am not interested plants herself right next to me starts talking. With out offending I continue the conversation but ultimately leads to her asking for a lady-drink and I say no finish my beer and go off. So with that I recommend you sit yourself right by the girl that looks good to you.
About the other business practices, I see a lot of bars letting the girls take up valuable real estate of the bar. The outer parts of the bar where people can people watch. I passed many a bar where I could have had a beer but kept going because the gals are sitting in those seats, where I would like to sit.
Oh well.

3rd Rd and Soi Buakhao run parallel. If you look it up on Google maps: 3rd Rd is called Chaloem Phrakiat.

There's even a police booth on Beach Road (somewhere near Soi 12 or 13 if I'm not mistaken). The girls are standing very close to this booth or are even leaning against it and do their business, LOL!

If you see a place you want to sit then tell the girl to get up. Or even if you just walk up there instead of passing the place by then I guarantee you that a girl will get up and offer you the seat. Nobody can read your mind and a closed mouth don't get fed.
OK, I'm officially fed up with WS pub, aka car on the wall. It's nothing but a men's gathering venue. There's tons of them, of all sizes, ages and nationalities. Women are few. Not worth the effort anymore.
The surprise yesterday was Lucifer. Yes the place has decayed a lot in popularity, so I wasn't very convinced about getting in. But I was wrong, first I tried to follow an hot body wrapped in one of these sleeve dresses. Then sitting side to the band, there were not less than three hotties near to me, all available. One slim young thingie on a table of four uglies, another red dressed sitting alone bored, and a third with a sort of Jap style hairdo was actually company with her friend to to an older Westerner. The M / F ratio was very favorable yesterday. I had already hit on a more plain girl, but still attractive and pleasant to be with. Brought her home and all was good and great until she did a run at 6. 30 am. I behaved like a gent and paid the full 2K fare, making an exception to the golden rules. That and the fact she was still insisting that her friend had a car crash upset me a little, however there is very little good material available at this time, and one may have to put up with this kind of BS.

That's the only one with the Red Chevvy (I think) hanging out on the wall. That club generally has a higher male to female ratio and since it closes earlier than the rest of the clubs, the girls start to move out quicker as well. May have just been a slow day for them when you visited.
Lucifer did look very run down (and esp since the temporary closure no reports), but good to hear that they are attracting good quality. What were the FLs quoting?

Is it possible for one of these girls to get a visa to study English in the US? Normally the visa requirements are very stringent, one has to provide documents stating they have enough stake in their home country to want to come back. The most that can happen in this case is that I can provide sponsorship letter with a bank statement. Does it look like it might work? I have no girl in mind but I was thinking of making a trip to see if I could find one and bring her along to study English.
Hey look, I know what you are talking about. It has happened to me a lot also. But if I see something I like I will sit right next to her if it is available. But more times than not, I will find a strategic seat and sit down and Miss Perfect will sit away from me or be on the other side of the bar. All you have to do is ask the bartender to ask the young lady to come over and sit next to you. Or if there isn't a seat available give up yours for her to sit and start a comversation and see where it goes after a drink or two. As for miss ugly coming over and sitting next to you and trying to grab your attentions, just tell her your not interested. Or better yet tell her to tell the girl your interested in to come over so you can buy Miss Perfect a drink. It is nothing personal, it is pure attraction. I am sure miss ugly has encountered this scenerio before and she might be disappointed, but if there is any place in the Mongering world where Darwin's theory is alive and well, it is Pattaya. Only the strong and the non-bashful survive, for the pretty ones anyway.

I don't know about the others that were there, and normally I don't let them quote. Last time at Marine one skinny OK looking asked 3,000 LT, but all she got from me was 3,000 milliseconds of condescending smiling.
