After years of chatting with hundreds of Filipinas on Yahoo,( I could write a long report about some of the real winnners I have chatted with and met in person, and I think I shall soon), and meeting a number of pretty nice girls on my 3 trips to phils, I got bored and just started this week with Camfrog.
Seems to be a whole different type of chat. The few I have talked with only ask for my paypal account :)
Has anyone here met any of the pinays there or are these girls only out fun?
Just like to report that I have now read every post on the "opionions and advice" forum. Whew! Was a long book, but well written and interesting in some parts. I don't feel like I am an expert now by any means, however, I do feel more informed. I have ordered some books from Amazon to complete the quest of understanding the monster known as "pinay". The Tagalog CD and instuction manual will also arrive with the Amazon shipment.
Simple conclusions:
Don't get married if you still monger, unless your gal is OK with this.
Family is everything, you are 2nd or 3rd.
Pinays are great long term partners if you find the right one.
Don't meet the parents unless you are serious.
Don't bring your heart to AC, Manila, Makati, Cebu, etc...
Don't bring her to the US.
Pay the local market rate.
Treat them as you wish to be treated.
Wear condoms, or be ready for the pregnant scam.
Use the head on your shoulders.
Be ever vigilant, in reguards to your health, heart, and wallet.
Be upfront, have fun, and you will get the same.
Some guys get taken, some guys don't. That is life and natural selection.
So, that is it. My conclusions for the day. It will be good to finally get some sleep and back to work on time for my lunch hour. Good thing I could not access this site at work! I would have got nothing done!

Great way to sum it up. I am not a legend but I am interested in meeting some other members of the board. I have been a member since Al Qaeda put together their first explosive and have never met another member. Last time I went mongering across Asia with co-workers it was pathetic. Guys talking shit behind other guys back. Whining about this and that. Some not sure they want to pay for pussy saying they should be getting for free simply ludicrous.

You payments are far too generous. If these are bar girls who are bar-fined, then you are ruining the market for yourself and others. Bar-fine plus trike money is the standard for overnight.

Agreed BL - I too like to hunt alone, especially when after FLs. In fact I'd say that having company along when out on the prowl is an unnecessary distraction in that you end up spending too much time chewing the fat and not enough time concentrating on the main business of the evening. So opportunities can be lost/missed. Another thing is that FL's often go in pairs, so if there are two mongers, a choice has to be made as to who gets who (and I often end up with the dog :D). If you are alone you get the choice of either/both.
The only exception to this is when visiting a new locale for the first time. Then company is preferable and optimally a local who knows the area. This is particularly necessary in a dodgy local mongering area.
Of course some guys get lonely/need the reassurance of having a buddy along so would never dream of mongering alone. I can understand this but think that they will miss out on opportunities that will pass them by if accompanied. Each to his own depending on his comfort zone. GH
Ok guys, so I know this story belongs in S. Korea forum but I had to share.
So I am in the Reggae Bar in Seoul last weekend with two of my buddies. A filipina comes to the table to ask our drink order and then comes back with the beers. Nice club, good music, and the waitress was about 5'4", with B cups and a pretty face. A little chubby, but that made for a nice fat ass. Anyway, she comes back with the beers and asks if we want to buy raffle tickets. So I ask what for? And she says because she lost her house in a mudslide on Leyete and she needs money to rebuild! I asked what caused the mudslide and she said "Typhoon". Hehehehe I asked which Typhoon? What was the name of it? She didn't know. My buddy asked, "What do we get if we win the raffle? " And she said, "huh? " heheheh So, he asked again, "What is the prize if you win the raffle? " And she said, "oh, I don't know". By this time, I am cracking up. I honestly cannot contain my laughter. She looks at us, and says, "Forget it! " Kinda pissed off like. We all laughed about that for a good 10 minutes.
Just goes to show, you can take the girl out of the PI, but you can't take the PI out of the girl.
Thought I might share a funny story with you guys.

Nice reflections Carm. And I would stress this last point in your use of the word "all". So many times guys on this and every other board I visit complain about a girl wanting to "step up". This is just natural womanhood. EVERY woman wants to find the most secure man they can. Most of the time secure = money. I dont look at it as a bad thing at all. It makes sense. Sure there are the few who go from tumultuous relationships to another, but most of the time they want better.

I'm a Pinoy living here in Manila. My suggestions for those who wants to marry a filipina is stay away from the hookers. Thats all. Of course they are you're easy target and because they, re sweet and everything but you must be carefull. These girls have too may boyfriends like previously said, they just want your money to spend with their pinoy bf. Of course there are exeptions. Look for the one which is not a sex worker. Btw its my first post. If you need to ask anything feel free to ask but I'm not an expert in mongering in manila but perhaps I could help. I'm going to Thailand in September. I wish I could get a tip in the BKK forum.

check out Giottos forum in BKK reports, he has his own thread. I stayed in his lodge before and I found it good value for money. He wisely spend his money on things like gud bed/matress, silent aircon, breakfast al the day, gud coffe, excellent western and thai food and he even have his own sports bar with gurls in the hotel, hahahaha, what more you can ask for. Easy access to the red light areas, walking distance...
as for pinays, I prefer the semi pros :D

Thanks for the summary. The only one I would disagree with is the one I've quoted. I've never had anything bad come from meeting friends and family of ladies and in fact got to experience some intersting things by doing so.
Of course I'm also honest and up front with the ladies. Now for those who play "snake in the grass" and use the "love" word and make false promises, or pop cherries --- well they probably should avoid meeting the family.
